I also miss that smile. She was always great in her trenches and a little feisty too. "I loved it when she said, Are you making fun of my pottery? And he hold up this tiny piece of pottery, and looks at her. So funny and great. Peace and hugs Rachsha.❤️🙏❤️

Watching Time Team saved me at a very low point. I depend on the reruns to help me. I truly miss Tony and Phil and of course Mick! I am so very happy and excited that you’ve brought this back!!

I know we shouldn't compare the old to the new because of course there will be a lot of changes, but I too miss Tony and his running around flapping his arms and his witty remarks and intelligent questions. And it's also difficult to forget Phil and Mick and the mild bickering between the three main heroes of the show. This new programme though does bring a fascinating amount of new technology which will help the present day archeologists in their digs. It's going to be a great adventure! 😍

The new digs for Time Team are a refreshing rebirth. I also find the eps of the TV series (which I've got on DVD) to be timeless and endlessly re-watchable. They were made so well and each captures the excitement and spontaneity of the dig. Great stuff

WOW over 100,000 subscribers I have a wonderful feeling that as more new people and old times like us come to watch your new digs, formats and technology you may very well hit the Million subscribers faster than any other channel. Once you get there the sky is the limit as to where you can go. (excluding wars, acts of God etc..) Here is to helping you along, by telling my friends. With the trash that seems to populate almost every channel these days getting to watch something clean, and informative such that you just might learn something by watching. It brings back what used to be on telly. When I look the number of people today that haven't a clue as to what history is all about and how it molded who and what we are. Once people start realizing that learning can be fun AND informative people will watch more and more.

I am 56 years old but everytime Time Team comes up, I feel like that 9 year old boy so curious about what is going on, what will be there, the tudor castle full of mystery and loads of stories, the armour on the walls that have seen so many tales to be told. I wqnt to hear it all, see it all. So sad I can't become a patreon, too sick to earn money to spend on these wonderfull days.

Love these behind-the-scenes bits! Kept watching for Sam Newton and Richard Pryor to wander through discussing their specialties while Carl Thorpe examines some bits of broken pottery as Stewart Ainsworth and John Gator prowl the land in the background. Will Suzannah Lipscome be showing us any secret passageways in the castle?? So exciting! It's lovely seeing the familiar faces and will always want more of them but it's also nice seeing "the next gen" finding their feet and doing an amazing job, too. Time Team is about the archaeology, of course, but it's also about the PEOPLE who DO the archaeology. Great combination of the two!

Real good, for me, to see how Some archaeologists have embraced the value of Good metal detectorists. Many hitherto un-known sites, and indeed several hitherto unknown Iron Age rulers, tribal sub-divisions, and their unique coinage have been discovered for archaeology by us 'swingers'. Try to ignore the bad press brought about by history poachers. It happens. Where there's 'game' there'll always be poachers. Remember; many of the very best Game-keepers, are poachers turned.

Unexpectedly brought a tear to my eye. Time Team was a must watch for wife, young kids and I back in the day. @@nielgregory108 I'd say it's rather high in three hours for a video that is only a trailer. But my main point was the views to likes ratio. More than 20 percent of the viewers gave the video a like and that is very unusual.

Really hope Gus uses his normal voice to narrate this time and not the dull and soft voiceover of the first episode. He sounds so much more at ease and expressive when he does. Really looking forward to episode two.
