I'd like to see the pond Chris built behind a metal shed where he trucked out 50K loads of dirt. I think there was an island in the middle with a sand beach. Lots of water.
You all do realize that is somebody’s private property right? It’s one thing to video an in progress job, another thing to come back to take video after the fact. It’s like your landscaper bringing potential clients to your new backyard he did for you without permission (which I had happen).
The scoop on the street is this new big hitter on the scene has ruffled feathers with the bealy good duck mafia & family & they're not happy with this wannabe takin the earth sculptor away from the bealy block , word is there's a couple heavy hitters comin down from albaquacky to snuff this wannabe & rumour round the duck pond is this smuck will be fish habitat at the bottom of the bealy good pond by the weekend .... i think im being tailed gotta go .😂
🎉wow, this guy just keeps coming up with projects for you. Apparently, he has deep pockets, and that's good for you saves on moving equipment. Between him and Jeff, your year is made.
Good day for Barney clearing out the injectors with the longer hauls and more pedal use. All the idling and short hauling I’m sure has them pretty gummed up
I was wondering how you'd handle expanding a pond like that. There is no good way to go about it I guess, get what dry dirt out you can, then the rest is inevitably going to be a mushy, muddy mess. Not much you can do about it.
I think I would have left a dam the width of the digger and dug out the dry clay as far as needed to complete the pond and go back onto the dam and gradually dig it out . 350 could reach it from both sides by the looks of it 🤔🤗
@@kerrypope767 That is true but Chris has to pay for it up front. Until Chris gets his first check. Also it's figured into the job. It still sucks paying for it lol
That pond is just plain gorgeous. I can see why the family wants to play there during these hot days. Love watching you & Kyle. You work so smoothly together. Looking forward to the crossing and the beach enlargement, too. Thanks, Chris for bringing us along and sharing this. Thanks, Kyle for joining in. This was fun.
It's a week shy of a year since you finished this pond (from posting to posting). It looks awesome. Just shy of 11 months since you completed phase 1 and 14 months since you started the whole project. This has been a wonderful work to observe and almost as full a transformation as the Bealy Good project. You are a joy to watch, and I really enjoy what you do.
That came out awesome, the 350 definitely is a winning combination with Barney hauling, cycle times are really good with the ability to load that quickly. Love to hear and see those plans come together, thanks for the update, enjoyed watching. BTW, nice truck wash, I like it.
@@cathiwim it’s just a thought, Chris knows what he’s doing! I’m just posting an idea! Just a nice conversation! Keep your pants on! Peace my friend!🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Between your work with Bealy Good Farms and this project with all of it's add ons, you'll probably be set for life! lol But that is a great problem to have! lol
Yeah Chris, That really turned out to be a really, really nice little lake !! And looks like you never even made it any bigger, tied right on in, nice and smooth transition !! Great as Always !! Have a Great Sunday Evening !! And, On too the Next !!
kind of astonishing the pond even holds water - you got to some good material while cutting the keyway with that sandy dirt you probably have at least as much volume of water as the pond as aquafer - pond level ground water under the fields
In that head area that you talked about putting fabric and clay on. What about a couple of short runs of field tile to help it drain down to the pond? Would that help? Then build back over top like you are planning on.
Hi Todd, I thought the same thing. I thought he was going to dump the load at that angle it would have turned over without a doubt and then he'd have to go home to clean his shorts. 😅 have a great night and all of next week.
I seem to recall a time at least a couple of years ago then the back end went over, thoug it might've been with John's 30T off-road truck. 🙂 It gives new meaning to the term articulated . . !
@jason27swg . A cool 86 degrees here just above the 18 mile streach down the Keys south of Miami in Homestead. Plus a 15 knot wind blowing in off the Atlantic.
Chris gets the 350 muddy. Next video: Well, I splashed a little mud on the 350, and it just wasn't looking too good, so I traded it in for a new Volvo EC480E. This is gonna be a good little machine for me.
There is an old story of a Cadillac owner who would trade in when the ashtray got full. Have to remember this was back in the era when a new 69 Mustang Mack 1 listed for $3200 (not a typo).
@@ArnieD17 I bought a new Ford f150 back 1975 and I paid $4950 and that seemed high then. I bought a ford f350 in 2006 and paid $41000 for that, I want a new ford f350 or f450 but they are around $90000. Or more I don't know if I'll get one or not.
Well not everyone knows what you know Chris, you’ve been doing it for your whole life! So it’s comes natural to you, you dig and plan while you’re digging!
These longer videos are GREAT. I could watch 3 hour videos every day, I enjoy them all what ever he is doing is my favorite one lol. I sure do appreciate every video he shares with us. This is the third time that I have watched this video.
Mud splatters on the new machine aren’t niche… But look at it this way: It had to happen some day and now you’ll be even happier when you completely clean it and it looks beautiful again 👍👍👍
Love these videos. My grandfather was an excavator in the 40's and 50's and built many roads in the Northeast as the US expanded . I was fortunate enough to be his student. I've lived equal parts in the Northeast, Midwest and the South. What fascinates me, amongst many things, are the various linguistics for the same description of events. In this case, some times just articulated as "mud" and other times "MUDDDaaaHHHa"!. Forest Gump like. The pronuciations of vowels is also extraordinary with many octaves. You've got to love this "melting pot" of a country we live in. This dude is highly talented. Keep up the great worik and thank you!
Wow those big wet loads were moving Barney around when you were dropping them, this guy has a huge pond, love the beach area, yeah, they need a road, love the videos.
Having customers with more money than sense must be both a blessing and a curse. Between Bealy NoGood and this guy, it fuels your equipment habit nicely at least.
I really envy you now, i decided to digg my pond bigger and deeper, but i only have one escavator and that is as big as your smallest one (6 tons) i have been working for 3 weeks now!!! 😂 Where is my 350 when i need it!! ❤🇸🇪
Further proof Chris does everything, and can do anything, with an excavator. Hole needs digging? Use an excavator. Fire needs stoking? Use an excavator. Truck needs towing? Use an excavator. Truck needs washing? Use an excavator. Shoes need tying? Use an excavator!
Maybe it's time for a water truck in your arsenal. Wash off your equipment and rinse the muddy drizzle off your new road. Sounds like a collab with Diesel Creek!
Well...that section filled up rather quickly didn't it ?....I could see the level of the pond drop as it filled... What about putting a sediment pond in that ditch /wet spot like you did at Bealys place build a narrow dam, pipe thru it into the pond, road above.
Have you been to the deep pond build with the island in it? The one that gets fed from rain draining off the owners building and the one that you rented the big Hyundai haul truck, I was wondering if it’s filled up yet, Chris?
That was funny Chris. "Already splattered mud on my new machine. Time to trade it !!" ha ha When Barney started tipping Kyle turned around to look. Giving Barny a bath ready for another day. Good video Chris. Have a great week.
I remember when you made this bigger!! And threw back so many times with the 220!! 10 to 12 scoops to load Barney!! Now 4 scoops!! What a mess then!! We know what you are up for this time Chris!! This will be nice when you finish!!
Chris watching the new 350 and seeing size of that bucket it’s huge and you have even a larger bucket ? I hope the 350 has enough counterweight awesome machine
Great job 👍🏻 2:49 I don’t know why I thought Chris was going to drink the water 😂 12:24 love how you said time to trade it love that you showed cleaning Barney
