This was not our best XI (and that includes McCarthy 😬). The sky is not falling. Some of the same people sounding the alarm over this result were doing cartwheels after a 7-1 win over a non-league side. It's pre-season, people. Save the panic for when it's warranted. It was a poor performance. We need to be Premiership ready. We need a keeper that can play with his feet, back 3/4 that can kick the ball around with confidence and be more attacking and critical in front of goal. Sounds easy 🙃😬
