Going through Time Warner Cable's digital channel guide on June 30, 2000. This is the guide for the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.
This was back when Time Warner Cable used the better Pioneer digital cable boxes with the much better Passport software.
Due to the greedy morons at ViaCrap blocking the original video in all countries but Canada, so I had to re-upload it cutting out the detected parts, editing the video with white bars and muting the audio...

Wow, whoever was operating the TV guide was terrible at their job. They misspelled Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network is just called “Cartoon Channel” despite Time Warner literally owning it.

I miss the black Pioneer boxes with the Passport software. I got my first in April 2001. Was a good setup. Finally dropped them all together about 10 years ago.

The digital lineup was so limited at the time. They had a lot more by 2001. I remember starting in 2000 or so Time Warner would black out Animal Planet on 43 from 2AM-8AM and run an Infomercial network (Access TV) in it’s place. Did the same with BET from 3AM-8AM and all day on Sunday. (Direct2U Network) Really annoyed me. They didn’t stop doing that until several years later. I’m in Kenosha. We had pretty much the same lineup (Only big difference was TV Guide Channel on 99 and WDJT on 8). Disney Channel was premium until I’m thinking May 2002.

I used to have the same channel guide when I used to have Cox cable back in the day until I switched to contour from November 2016 when I have the HDTV.

The Guide is also used by other cable companies like Comcast in the USA, Shaw in Canada and Cablevision in Mexico

Time Warner Cable basically became Spectrum when they merged with Charter and Bright House in 2016.

I remember having the Passport guide back in 2008 until they updated it in August of the following year.

Me too. I recorded a tape of it updating which I have somewhere but I need to find it. I also found an old TWC DVR from Good Will that has a newer version of the Passport software that was probably only used for their DVRs in the past. I made sure to not connect it to my actual cable line so doesn't update. I'm going to upload a video showing off that once I get the chance to.

I went back in August 2014, then I have the crappy Motorola DCT2224 Cable Box with an I-Guide Software from Time Warner Cable (is now Spectrum). Passport is much better.

Excelente video, ya extrañaba canal TV GUIDE Tengo misma interfaz de usuario del decodificador, pero en la actualidad ahora es negro xd Antes era blanco con azul y no sabía como se cambió interfaz estos años. Mi proveedor de cable, Claro TV Guatemala utiliza decodificador Arris, tengo es DCX3520e-M (DVR con disco duro de 500GB). Y el control es color rojo utilizado decodificador AndroidTV (de IPTV por fibra óptica) que incluye botón Claro Video) son compatibles para Arris Saludos cordial desde Guatemala PD: ese año naci en 2000 ;)

My favorite channel was always the weather channel sad to know what the weather channel has become even though it gotten way better now with the shows but its 24/7 weather not half weather half tv shows it's supposed to be 24/7 weather coverage forever and it does not have smooth jazz on the local on the 8s anymore now it has shitty songS that sound the same
