Hello Tim, I find that my beard growth rate is about the same with or without minoxidil. Only the density is different now than before.

I am Vietnamese, with no facial or body hair genetics in the entire family. That's some good progress, you should see some significant gains at the 6 month mark. One day you will for sure surpass me! Stay Strong Beard Brother!

At month 8, Month 12 to 14, and then again at Month 24. It is not uncommon for you to go through shedding periods and plateaus so you will feel like you regress and then you get gains. Stay Strong Bears Brother!

Hi monkeybeard i really appreciate your documented beard journey i have started two months ago. However, I suffer from dryness and flaking, as if it there is two color skin on my face 😂😂😂 due to use of minoxidil and i’m shock that your skin is look natural and only one color, so please bro Can you give me a solution to this problem?

Minoxidil requires alcohol as a carrier so it is very drying to your skin. One of the big side effects is also flakey skin. Make sure you moisturize after the Minoxidil dries. The flakey skin is a good thing, it indicates that it is working. The dry skin will get better and hair will grow afterwards. So do not fret too much just yet. Stay Strong Beard Brother
