@@tfking10. Not terribly familiar with "Synthesia." When you run an audio recording of piano, organ, or synth into it... Does it graphically show you the fingerings?
That was just brilliant video. The last one (Ab7) was so beautiful and surprising. Really like all your latest chords videos Adam. Hope you will add a full course on Open Studio on how do you develop those moves. Great stuff Adam, keep bringing more cool stuff. Thanks🎉
This fuckin guy, man. This fuckin guy. Spends a minute playing some gorgeous shit and then I spend hours thinking about it and playing with it. Love these videos
More like 17th Century or possibly earlier, in european classical music the 2nd inversion of the one chord is called the cadential 6/4, in that music it is actually treated as more like a V chord with suspensions, because back then the V/V7 chord always had to follow the cadential 6/4
True, but the use of the raised diminished IV and the last progression with the dominant of the neapolitan 6th reminded me of Schumann expecially. Also the third inversion german augmented 6th chord before the last cadential 6/4. I guess the chords themselves are timeless but the subtleties in the progressions remind us of certain periods!
Happy new years to you guys! I hope to learn a lot and expand my vocabulary as a pianist this year and you all will be a big part of that. Appreciate yall a ton!
Muchas gracias Buena Gente, no saben lo que nos cuesta pagar en este momento duro en Argentina un buen profesor de puano y armonia. Tengan ustedes un mejor y feliz 24!
These are all great. What about C/E, Fdim, F#dim, C/G. But the top line is C, B, A, G. I heard Cory Henry do that and had to cop it. I honestly can’t quite explain the Fdim but it’s great.
Before I break into this bank vault I’d like to share with you the timeless chords for 2024. (just kidding) Beautifully done as always. Happy New Year to Open Studio!
You're Gold man! Right on a work free day I can sit down at the piano with a nice coffee and learn those progressions ❤ Btw can someone tell me the exact arpeggio notes at the end?
