34:02 Near the end of Match 4 where you were wondering if you had lethal on the last attack, I think it was possible. First, you can activate your Deathrite's lose 2 life ability anytime before they declare blockers. You can force the 7/7 past with Giver as you mentioned. Then there will be 3 more damage coming across from Bowmasters x2 and the Bat for 10 damage so far. Shoeldred can block a 2/2. Depending on how your opponent reacted to your earlier Deathrite activation, they either lost 2 life already, or their Deathrite is now tapped and they can't block your other 2/2. Either way, that puts the opponent down to 1, then to -1 from their One Ring on their upkeep for lethal.

Sorry to be that guy, but couldn't you have won game 2 by giving Thalia pro-black with Giver of Runes, and then attacked with her and the bat, and then cast Bowmasters to finish off the opponent?

13:55 Giver of Runes gives Pro-B to Thalia, Bat and Thalia attacks. Opponent either throws Lurrus under the bus or is toast. Worst case scenario would be Unearth on Lurrus, Searing Blood isn't lethal thanks to lifelink on bat. Isnt this better?

Lurrus IS black, so they could not block Thalia. LVD had lethal there with attack+bowmaster iic

Great content as always though your presumptive play at 14:50 was incorrect. The opponent left themselves dead on board by playing the land out which is presumably the scoop as your just pre-combat give either Thalia or Voice Pro-Black and swing for lethal with bat - no reason to wait for blockers.

in game 2 why let the orc amass every turn? you are taking 1 either way, shouldnt you just do no blocks?

Still forces them to get it back as opposed to getting Eidolon back or having more mana for other things. The Amass token also wasn’t very threatening. But under different circumstances it could be better to just take it.

In the last match, you could have activated Deathrite twice and just swung with Bat to deal 5 to the opponent, exiling Bowmasters and another creature from a graveyard to deal the final points of damage. Your way worked too, but the Deathrite line was the first thing I saw.
