I hope they do more decade series like this, both before and after the 80s. I really enjoy this!

Back to the Future, this movie gets never bored me. Does matter how many times I've watched it.

I can't express how much I love this series. My only complaint is that they are not longer... I'm sure myself and many others wouldn't mind 60 min episodes. Great Stuff, Can't Wait For 1986

1985 was my birth year. I love everything in the 80's and 90's. This video reminds me so much of my childhood.

A defining year for teen movies: Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, The Goonies, Weird Science, Teen Wolf, Real Genius, Just One of the Guys, The Legend of Billie Jean, Fright Night, etc...

It’s crazy to look back in the decade that defined much of what we are today and realize that I lived through that right out of high school and didn’t think anything about it! This is truly the best decade of the 20th Century! What a time to grow up!

Just a quick note about Phil Collins and Live Aid - he didn't land in Philly as Concorde had no service to PHL. He landed in NYC and took a helicopter to Philly and back the same day. Small details that nobody cares about, I know, I know. Love your vids - keep em coming!

I think that 1985 is the quintessential year of the 80's. My mind always thinks of 1985 when thinking about the 80's, and it's not just because it's in the middle. I always go to 1991 when I think of the 90's.

When I think back to my idyllic childhood, 1985 stands out. Nintendo/Super Mario Bros, Back to the Future, Goonies, MTV, Hulk Hogan... to an 8 year old growing up in the suburbs, it didn't get any better.

Yep, 1985, my birth year. So while I was a 90s kid in terms of culturization, I still love a lot of 80s things because some of my first solid memories were of 80s trends right before the 90s really got going strong. Honestly I think the 80s give me the most faux-nostalgia overall, because even though I don't have much, if any working memory of the 80s, I still really really liked the media that carried over into syndication and cable, so I ended up being something of an 'echo 80s kid'.

LOVE this series! Talk about a walk down memory lane...83 - 86 were 3 of the best years of my LIFE, when I was a sophmore, junior, and senior in highschool. Nope, I'm not a "jock", pining for the long, lost glory days. I was in a rock band and livin' large! D&D, girls, and guitars was my life (and I was still valedictorian). Now, I'm in a rock band again, and still having fun...though I go to bed a hell of a lot earlier these days! Bwaaaa, haa, haaa!

The tv series Moonlighting debuted 39 years ago to the day! We used to watch that show at our house with I was in elementary school.

I was 6 and this shit was a magical time for me.

Why the heck am I crying. I was 8 years old in 85. Nostalgia is good for the soul.
