As @innit mate said, some people wanted to take an advantage of the low prices everywhere. Some families didn't let the companies lure them in, some did. I know friends and family. Some are responsible, some aren't. While they aren't anti-mask irresponsible and don't have bad intentions, they've still tried to see other family inside and travel. I hear stuff like this pretty often, but I don't say much, since... what can you do? 🤷You can only really control yourself. I guess even being outside with masks, I guess I'm lucky that I haven't gotten COVID-19 yet, seeing those people even though I follow guidelines. To those who see this, and have gotten frustrated from hearing those same things, there will be a time where that doesn't matter anymore. We can all get through this!

Most people out there decided to wear masks trying to protect themselves. For the time being, Asian countries have fewer cases and death toll. Now, due to the high percentage of "Asymptomatic Infection"; it should be assumed that everyone could have been infected. Everyone wearing masks become a must. Assume that a low quality surgical mask can still block 80% of the virus in droplets (homemade masks will be less than 80%). If everyone wears such a mask, the virus must pass a double barrier before successfully infect others. So the overall blocking efficiency is increased to 96% (1.0 - 0.2 x0.2). Simple ordinary quality surgical masks or even homemade cotton cloth masks will be ok. Masks are in short supply all over the world. Yet, a surgical mask can be reused for several days in general purpose. Hang the mask at window facing outside in few hours to allow sunny ultraviolet killing all viruses attached. The Epidemic prevention commander of Taiwan even made a demo on TV showing how to de-virus by using rice cooker dry cooking for 3~8 minutes to renew a surgical mask. Cloth masks are reusable after washing with bleach. China can provide up to 30 million pieces per day of non-medical grade surgical masks for export. Taiwan has donated to the world of 10 million pieces. These two are the biggest suppliers in the world of producing masks in that grade. Those masks are suitable for common purpose to be used by ordinary people.
