They went from “Bad Boys”, but now they’re called “Sad Boys”. From 28 straight Ls to 1 game winning streak to making another historic losing streak. “Sell The Team” chant might’ve been sad but true for them in the future.
I feel so bad for Cade man, such a great young player, comes back for surgery and has played the best season of his career only to be on this putred organisation
That makes me so retroactively angry to see how we had the worst record or 2nd worst, and both times got the 5th pick instead. The lottery system is such a joke, in trying to punish teams for tanking they've instead punished teams who are just flat out bad and need the help. We could've had Wemby but no, give him to a franchise who's historically always been gifted greatness and bounce back from any lows quickly. Gores has been a bad owner and Weaver's moves have flat out not worked. I have zero faith this team will ever get back to the quality we had in the 2000s and the 80s, and that we'll reach a point in a couple years where Cade says "fuck this" and demands a trade out of here.
Cade I know you can't hear me but leave soon as possible, this team reminds me LeBron's young youth days in Cavs, as long team management will not change, you will be there just taking L's rest of your career.
We could've been the best team ever we just had to be smart in the draft like i would rather draft Haliburton over hayes and we could've done that and so much more in the draft
@@jaywarvzTheyve made themselves so unattractive to future stars and free agents and after lebron itll be 19 straight losing seasons till they draft their next superstar
I also saw the Detroit Pistons last November against the Denver Nuggets with my Dad, but somehow this Pistons team for the 2023-2024 was completed worst
Last time you did a Pistons timeline, I commented that I hope the latest youth movement works. Well it’s certainly achieved something, just in a much different way. 🤣
@@jaywarvz I saw a video that stated how the 2023-24 Detroit Pistons are somehow worst then the 2017 Cleveland Browns (they went 0-16 that year). TLDR, the 2017 Browns lost games by an average of 11 points. When the video was uploaded, The 2023-24 Pistons were losing games by 11.53 points.
And the Pistons were really hoping to get the 2023 #1 for Wemby? Bro, y’all couldn’t do anything with the talent you drafted in the previous years before that. It’s better he went to another team than get stuck in the woes of Detroit’s NBA team and I feel for the other young players who are trying and trying to get things rolling 😐
Funny how a month later they're not THAT bad. But, yeah they just keep losing close games! They have a lot of good young players, it's not as bad as you might think but,,, the issue is,,, getting players to stay long term. Detroit has had such a great franchise, I mean, from the 80s until 2010 they were typically a playoff team. Many deep playoff runs, 5 finals, 3 titles, they surely can eventually find a way to get back to the top! The problem is, the fake draft lottery, which I believe is not random, it's decided by NBA executives in a boardroom. We all know that, we're not naive or stupid. So teams like Detroit will never really get a #1 pick back to back years when they're by far the worst.
Pistons front office is straight up malicious. They’re rebuilding but constantly trade away draft picks. You would think it would be to trade for current players but they can’t even do that right
I wonder if Dan Snyder or David Tepper are secretly running their organization because they’re no excuse to have the best Salary cap for 3 Consecutive Seasons and do absolutely nothing with it
I think the Pistons just picked another draft bust, all they need is a shooter. But their pick was horrible, I bet you 100% check later in the 2024-25 season.
The Detroit Lions arguably had their best season in the Super Bowl era and what did it cost? The Detroit Pistons Season and free wings for the Detroit fans.
Before, all NBA Teams are scared to Pistons because Pistons are best defenders and every team, even Spurs and Lakers before gave them hard time thanks to Wallace Now, all NBA Teams are scared to Pistons to avoid being part of embarassment and known as team who lost to Pistons
Are they even trying to win though? I realize athletes don’t intentionally throw games but a coaching staff can purposely put together bad lineups that don’t perform well. But there’s really no end in sight. It’s not like the NFL where you’re really bad and draft a qb and in a couple of years you’re a decent team. One good player can’t fix this team. Prime MJ couldn’t turn this into a playoff team.
@@Shaw_Cardboard_Treasures Tom Gores record since he bought the Detroit Pistons so far is 360-622, .367 winning percentage, two playoff appearances, one outright winning season (2015-16), no postseason series wins, and no postseason game wins.
THESE PISTON line up are way more talented ,than Lebron's teammates when he was drafted by Cavs and yet The 18 yrs old Bron Carried the worst team to playoffs,But why Cade cannot carry this worst team ,in fact they have 4 first rounder in the team .
