RU-vid been recommending vid's to me lately from smaller new channels and brought me here. Great review man, idk how you did it but this feels like it came out like 11 years ago vibe/format wise lol (not a bad thing). 💪 Loved this game back in the day, it was the last great classic shooter i played before everything went into the boring 2 weapon limit/regenerating health that became big in the 00's. Its a shame we would never get so much content in games these-days, whole series need a good HD remaster collection.

The multipayer for this game was fucking epic...The fact they didnt take themselves to seriously and had a shit ton of cheesy options for multiplayer...Like burp or fart sound effect for guns...just classic to 12 year old me.
The TimeSplitters trilogy is of the absolute best FPS's of all time! It was confirmed back in 2021, that TimeSplitters is making a return - developed by Free Radical Design, including some of the original developers!
We'll see what comes of it, especially with talk of more financial issues coming out from the parent company! As far as classics go, let's hope we at least see something about Perfect Dark next year! Haha
I remember being a kid and my older brother just saying "yeah I picked up this used game from the second hand store it has co-op wanna play?" Shit is one of a kind and has been flying under the radar flr no good reason I mean it doesn't hurt that we played Perfect Dark Co-op and multiplayer for years and before that it was goldeneye
Though I prefer Timesplitters 2, I still love this game. It's a shame they somewhat recently shut the studio down that was working on Timesplitters 4 😭
Great video review of a great game - funny and you can tell how much you love playing it! Would be fantastic for someone to do an updated TS for the new hardware available today, while keeping the atmosphere and humour of the original trilogy.
i mean, a fan sequel is in the work called rewind. But the idiots at free radical are like "yeah we're gonna make it as well". But it's just talking from them. But besides that ? A goat game i'm still playing today.
don't think they will after the talking they did with them. But I'm coming from Call Of Duty, and when I saw what activision has done from BO4 to MWIII ? I don't see big triple A studios caring about video games anymore (except rebellion, or valve to only quote 2)@@THHDReviews
I think this was the first game in the trilogy I beat then I finished the others later. I believe I had 2 first but got stuck at some point and didn't actually finish until after this one.
@@THHDReviews Honestly I suck at shooters, which is why I play most of them on either the easiest or second easiest difficulty. And why I never play online multiplayer shooters. Playing with friends is one thing but in solo multiplayer online I'm getting shredded enough that its no fun, and in team multiplayer I'm more a hindrance then a help to my team.
No, I thought TS 1 was a disappointment. It did some things right, and was fun, but was a let down, especially considering that many of the same people had also made Goldeneye (N64) and Perfect Dark. But TS 2 and Future Perfect are both utterly fantastic.

@@THHDReviews I remember being able to play metal gear solid 2 and it made out like you would be playing as snake...then you end up as a lady boy, great game though, love metal gear, shame konami is a different beast now
