This took me so long to get down to a point where it looks anything like what your doing. like a month of throwing it into my drills. need to work on switching right into the sp. same isolation, but really glad to have this one checked off. I remember seeing it years ago and making me think "this dudes onto something". You've never ceased to impresses me since. Awesome work.
Thank you! It's better late than never! And it's kinda funny because I'm doing exactly what you said, Rocking back and forth till I can see where to switch. I'm noticing I need to practice the alternate hands on top/bottom to really do it, and I can for all but a couple seconds. :D Thanks for the video man!
@JoffJk why thank you! i've been wanting some kind of dslr for filming, but they're expensive, otherwise i would be putting my efforts more into pre-production, and different shots etc.... i could do it now... but it'd take muuch more time than im willing to spend :\ laziness is bad
sorry i'm slow to reply!!... so if you can practice just the rocking back and forth with one poi above the other, having the head of the top poi meet the handle of the bottom poi at either side, this is the place to start. when the poi reach either side, you'll notice them making a 90 degree angle between the two tethers. while the poi are in this relationship, that is the opportunity to switch which hand is on top
