I guess for the record, The Long Goodbye (Altman and Gould!!) is #2 and Donnie Darko is #1, for now. I am off to watch James White, now that I have caught up on TC's prior films. OMG he loves "La Boom", it is one of my favourite moovies too. When I watched CMBYN for the first time I noticed that it had remined "La Boom". The same vibes, also parents were great in both films.
