I love when Tina comes on this show. She's always funny in interviews, but it's so obvious they are friends and make each other laugh. Not true when she visits other late night hosts.

Not cool that everyone is trying to hide the fact that this new movie is a musical. In fact it was weird that they didn’t really talk about it at all. There was no “tell us about the film” segment of the interview. Angourie Rice is one of the prettiest girls on earth and the original movie was fantastic. The problem is the audience. Broadway tickets are expensive, so people will only spend the money if they are assured a good time. So people pick things they already know - in other words: movies turned into musicals (Moulin Rouge, Back to the Future, Mean Girls, Hairspray, etc.) and jukebox musicals of songs people know (Moulin Rouge (again), American Idiot, Jagged Little Pill, Jersey Boys, etc.). There's a "Well, if I'm gonna spend a hundred bucks, I'll go see Mean Girls: the Musical. I already love the movie!" instead of "Hmmm, I only get to see one show, maybe I will pick something new and original like Hadestown and expand my horizons." Producers know this. So they keep pouring money into shows that will make them even more money. And there ya go. Clockwork Orange: the Musical.

I miss her, feels like she’s been chilling doing her thing for awhile. I’m not mad at her but l do miss her. Wish Hollywood made more comedy movies like the 80s and 90s. We would have seen Tina in so many movies.
