You know this is the kind of video I like. Maybe feeding them but other than that, documentary style. No creating drama, clothes, Bathing, keeping monkeys as pets. Just documentary style. That is the best way. Like natgeo style.
Thank Mr JW for posting this video, once again the content and subject matter is five stars. I read ML comment I believe she has got it right on what we are seeing with Tina, ML is an extremely smart person. Thank you for the kindness you and the others in your country show these beautiful animals. It is so refreshing to see kindness in times like these. Stay well SUPERMAN and his CAMERA.
I have a question, why did you decide to bring in other species of monkeys and, breed for these hybrids ?The mother's do not recognize these babies as their own. Keep up the good work,
@@Butterfly-mt5ml it sort nickname, he does a great job with the content, he’s on the other side world, I figured he would know Superman, I don’t really know anything or culture about his country, so we both know Superman
Tina looked like she was feeling uncomfortable, but I can't imagine how painful it was for the newborn to have the afterbirth dragging behind and catching on everything. I'm surprised Tina wasn't eating it. I think she's either very well nourished, or she mated with a large male this time and that may be why this infant so much larger than her others have been. That baby seems really strong.
Very few moms are well nourished. She still should have eaten the Placenta. She drug it as it tangled on everything, when it got stuck she yanked it hard until umbilical cord broke. Pulling on little baby! Poor thing. She didn't eat the placenta because she didn't know to. She didn't chew THE cord either cuz she doesn't know to do this. Monkey do not know what to do. They learn from v the other monkeys They copy each other. Wether smart or dumb, they choose Vet follow what others are doing! Such a weaning with Violence. That is bad method is copied repeatedly. And it isn't GOOD at all. Babies suffer. Its sad for the baby. But notice mom suffers a bit with violent weaning. Monkeys are dumb Wolf of the time. They don't really know.
@@taniathomas3600 what the heck are you talking about??? These monkeys have all been well-fed for the past two years. Also, I have no doubt that Tina knows what to do with a placenta. This isn't her first rodeo. I think this birth was just especially hard on her, considering her other newborns all tended to be undersized.
@@taniathomas3600usually but maybe not every single time, mom and baby both were created with God given instincts that help us navigate through our lives. This goes for every single species created for some kind of purpose or reason. This isn’t only when it comes birth either, it’s true for many other things. Everything that is created is created to naturally do things that we don’t even realize. Like with breast feeding for example, if baby is sick or low on a specific nutrient the breast has a way of knowing this by the saliva from baby and the mothers body will then begin to produce the antibodies or nutrients that baby is needing. The more affection a mother gives her baby, the more her body naturally produces what her baby specifically needs to not only be healthy but also to be happy. It’s all quite fascinating! So no, monkeys aren’t just born too stupid or whatever it was you were trying to suggest.
Holy smokes, that is one big baby. Poor moms behind looks rough. Had to have been rough giving birth to such a huge baby. Never seen a newborn that big. Great video. Good job.
I know every woman out here who is watching this can practically feel her total and absolute fatigue after a rough childbirth,,, well, actually, any childbirth!
Now this is good photography. Editing gets an A plus and is never out of focus or shaky. Didn't get dizzy once. Others could learn from you. On another note, Dorothy is got her eyes on Dorty's baby. Won't be long before she'll have that baby too. Excellent video JW.
I’m surprised at Tina’s neglect in dealing with the placenta, this is not her first rodeo after all.🤔😳 The poor baby not only has to hold it’s own weight but that of the placenta which is being dragged all over the place, good thing it’s a big baby! Maybe Tina has her heart set on the goodies from the feeders and doesn’t want to fill her belly with a yucky piece of meat.🤔 Although she could just separate it from the cord and leave it. Who knows what goes on in her head?😂 What a wonderful surprise, to have an almost 32 minute video from you❣️ Thank you JW, for your videos and your kindness to our furry friends.❤️ You are much appreciated. Oh yeah, I also wanted to say that Tina probably didn’t have the energy to worry about the placenta because she did an amazing job of cleaning her baby, no small feat considering how big it is!😳 My prayer for this baby is that it won’t suffer the pouch raiding that it’s elder siblings did.🙏
She just gave birth to a huge baby. Had to be a difficult birth. Rhesus usually give birth on a tree at night, but Tina appears to have a troubled & long labour, ended up in the morning, she didn't have time to rest and help with her pain. If you looks at past videos rarely you look a Rhesus mom's after immediately given birth. That is because they take at least one day to rest and clean their babies. I worked with Monkeys in rehabilitation center, & their labour is not easy, is difficult and they need time to recover, and normal baby monkeys aren't big. Tina's baby looks quite big. Most taken her at least 7 hrs of labour.
@@puertoricanlady2023 True, you can see that it had to have been long and probably difficult as she didn’t clean herself or attend to the placenta, but she did a great job of cleaning her baby!👍☺️
@JW Thank you JW. It's so wonderful to see you. I was getting worried about you my friend because I hadn't seen you. Hope all is good on your end of the world & that you are well. Always appreciate you sharing Monkey Hill with us but please remember that you & your health are the #1 priority? The work & amount of time that you, AM & MC put into the videos to share with us is without doubt greatly appreciated. The videos always makes us feel as if we were right there standing next to you. And I know at least 95% if no t more wish we could be right there. Anyways, JW, I hope you have a great day. God bless
JW Minc and AM are not the only ones who video in monkey hill at Hong Kong. There's another poster Animals food and carpark dashcam vlog. Happy viewing.
I don't normally feel much sorrow for Tina but it looks as this delivery on this baby was really really hard on her. I hope and baby we're okay. ... Della ...
Thanks JW for this video. Can't believe you're able to capture Tina, fresh from giving birth to Tiy. She's still bleeding. ☹ But looking forward, we all know that Tina and Tiy are fine.👌
A few things I’d like to talk about/ask. First is a big THANK YOU JW for your hard work and awesome talent as a VO! Your videos are always so beautiful with the natural sounds and music you add in. 🥰 Second, I wonder if the birth of such a big monkey causes the same perineal tears that a human birth goes through? And maybe that’s why Tina was constantly lying down. No doubt she was in pain and was exhausted anyways after giving birth but you gotta wonder if they go through the same things. It seems they would. Watching her try to catch a few Z’s was truly funny when her eyes crossed while holding her corn, I did feel for the poor gal! Seeing Bubbles was so nice! AND TEENY!!! I, along with a lot of others, fell in love with that little girl! She’s so big now but still has that adorable little face!😍 Loved seeing her groom mom. I bet Tina appreciated that. OH! And OH MY HUGE EARS at 29:51! 😆😆😆 The way you ended this video was perfect. Seeing all those beautiful babies! Loved watching the mom lip smacking to her baby trying to get it to walk! And then the way she picked it up, just so adorable!🥰 (I wish I knew the gender because I don’t like calling such an adorable baby ‘it’😟) Anyways, thank you to whoever reads my whole post. I appreciate you and wish everyone the best of life and a safe, healthy, and wonderful holiday season!💗🥰😍🤗
Getting Teeny’s reaction to her new baby sister was just fantastic. Poor Tina, she birthed a big baby & she looks tired, fazed, and really needs a long rest. That baby is nearly the size of Bubbles.
What makes you think she looks tired? The way she picks at the umbilical cord hoping for a yummy bite or is it the way she’s sitting with her troop waiting for a passerby to throw some food?
I'm not surprised the dragging of that placenta on that concrete, roots and rocks caused the entire thing to detach. I bet it was painful when it snagged on something. Tina is not an inexperienced mom. She has had several babies and knows what to do with the placenta. Normally a monkey will eat the placenta. I think, and could be wrong, she was just too tired to deal with it at the time.
I've NEVER seen such a hugh BABY!!! Her backside is pitiful. I hope she recovers QUICKLY. OKAY, so I finished to soon. I've just now subscribed BECAUSE I want to learn more about this SPECIES. I find the Mommies and babies so adorable and precious, but I know it's not always so cut & dry. Your very good with that camera. I hope I learn whose the hierarchy of your troop's.
I know you didn’t feed Tina right away because you were hoping she’d eat her placenta (that and you wanted to make it safe for her to have a handout based on her ranking). Your understanding and appreciation for the monkeys is so admirable. Everything I leaned, I learned from you and Mr. AM. I think Tina is spoiled- or not feeling so well. I also think this baby has another Dad- not the disfigured fellow who is Tiny and Teeny’s Dad- what do you think? You are all class, JW! 🙏🏻 ❤
Tina is low ranking and doesn't eat until the others have - that means there are times she doesn't eat if there isn't enough to go around so I doubt she is spoiled.
The mama around 30:58 pulls the baby off her nipple and “scolds” the baby while protecting her nipples. It’s almost like baby bit and mama was telling baby to not bite. She made sure to make eye contact with the baby. Then she scoops baby up for a hug. ❤❤❤
This is one really huge new born baby monkey, I can only imagine how hard it was to give birth to him. Her new born baby monkey is very big and strong.
This video was really great! Thank u for taking the time to do this. Us monkeyers just love to see their lives unfold, watch babies play, grow an wean! Weaning is a really difficult time for some of them, an its horrible on them, i feel terribly, the poor babies. With that said, it is some of the funniest shit! God forgive me, im so sorry, BUT some of the antics they go thru to get milk! Bless those Mommas! Of course I go back ALL the time to watch Dopey! Bad day? Dopey! Sick? Dopey! Lol! How could we have known how well he would come to fit his name so perfectly. I did feel horrible for Tina. It is always the sweetest thing to see Momma communicating with her baby. I really loved that the best! She went right down to her (?) little level to get her attention! Again it was a great video! Take care of urselves every body, love an light God Bless
Good heavens. That's a big baby. Tina is too exhausted to clean herself, and eat. She looks like she tore some and is still bleeding. It's almost as though she's in shock.
poor monkey mom .she hasn't even eaten the placenta or corn ,now that's what I call super tired from delivering big headed infant 😵💫 I bet that took all her strength
OMG! Tina looks so tired she has just given birth in this video, the baby Tiy is so big Tina not used to giving birth to big babies like Tiy, she could not even eat the corn you gave her feeling exhausted, nice capture JW good job .
Oh my lord that’s a big baby! My gosh! 💙🐒 Man I hope she’s ok, looks like that birth was a rough one. She looks terribly uncomfortable…. Does Martha have only one nip at the milk bar? 😳 Thx for the video. ☮️🐒
She must be exhausted. Such a good Mom though. Thanks @JW! I know this is a month old but it just popped up on my Notifications. She’s so tired. Poor Mama. Almost fell asleep with that ear of corn. Thank you for treating her! xxoo
Poor girl she is so exhausted I pray that she recovers quickly she definitely delivered very big baby . I'm pleased baby seems well. I am little concerned about mom but surely with some rest she will be OK. They are lovely animals all of them
Thank you JW - these babies are too cute. Tina was clearly very tired... I feel like nuts or bread and some water would've been easier for her to stomach. Imagine the monkey that came across her discarded sweet corn - he/she hit the jackpot!!! :)
That is a big one! Poor lass is exhausted. You are the only monkey channel that's not abusive, it makes me cry to see your kindness and care. I'm glad they have you. I had the....ummm.... Sorry -but - misfortune of living there for a few years and it was quite literally the worst experience of my life.... It was not in the same area as you are but I did pass through there a few times, I was closer to the North Eastern border.... I was in constant shock, It just seemed like life meant nothing there and I was unable to handle the open and blatant animal abuse I saw there, i had never seen anything like that before. ..... It was 15yrs ago though and a lot can change in such a long time, my friends have told me it's different now though. Thank you for showing these beautiful, intelligent, sweet and thoughtful creatures so so much love.... To see people showing them so much care after what I had seen helps me to move past it and on to better images.
It is not easy giving birth to very large infants! She'll be okay with a little time to rest and some decent nutrition! Soon she will allow curious family members come and take care of her. Right now they dont even know what to do yet, but they keep an eye on her. The older females will step in - they know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it! Between her family and knowledgeable concerned humans, she is in good hands.
I love how you and AM and the regular feeders are considerate when you give them something to eat. Tina like corn alright but I think she was too tired to eat. Rhesus macaques often give birth in the trees during the night. In my opinion is that those who had their babies during the days are in a bit of shock. I think Tina is in shock but because I think she started giving birth during the night but had a difficult delivery that kept until the day. That's why she wasn't sure about the placenta. It looked like she stared at it like it was an alien. JW I can also see Bobbin in Bubbles sometimes. She looks more like him than she looks like Bobette. Thank you for sharing this video. You told us that you have a busy schedule this period so extra thank you for taking the time and share. 🤓🇸🇪🇺🇦🕊
Hi M L, I hadn’t thought about the time of day factor that you mentioned possibly being the cause of Tina’s odd behavior. It would make sense that daylight made things far more dangerous for her, and that may have caused her to immediately get on the move rather than wait to pass and ingest the afterbirth. I was, however, similarly thinking that Tina went through a difficult birth with this baby. The size of her newborn in comparison to Tina’s thin and undernourished frame very likely put quite a strain on her body. She likely had a very difficult time pushing that healthy sized newborn out and into this world. She definitely seemed weak and exhausted. I think it’s also possible that the quality of her blood is less than optimal due to her constant state of being undernourished, and if so, the loss lot of blood from giving birth could cause extreme exhaustion, weakness, and possibly confusion if her blood isn’t carrying enough oxygen to her body and brain. I imagine Tina is quite lucky to have survived this birth considering her overall physical condition and the size of that baby.
@@GGdmk Great comment as well. You can certainly tell the difference between the subscribers of the monkey channels. I love coming to these to see and read intelligent commentary instead of, well, I’m not going to be mean so I’ll just keep it at that.🤗
Feeding these wild animals has created a huge problem of masses of overpopulated, fat, obese macaques who are become too lazy to forage on their own, break into houses, destroy crops, attack people and molest pets. In some cities they swarm with groups of thousands over the streets, leaving faeces everywhere. As you already can see in this video. Imagine that these things would swarm over the streets of your city as you can see here! Leave your disgusting luxurious pink cloud and come to reality. What you are admiring and applauding here is a complete destruction of natural balance by irresponsible people.
Well Tina is so much healthier and in a better place to have a new baby. The struggle back then having Tiny & Teenie food was a true struggle. The pandemic helped them all with constant feeding with people and feeders . Tina is much better place hope she doesn’t pickup old habits .
