Tina’s legs are the most beautiful, impressive, gorgeous, sexy and amazing set of stems I’ve EVER seen in my 44 years of life! ❤❤ R.I.P Miss Tina Turner.. You’re gone but you will definitely NEVER EVER be forgotten!! Your music lives in us!
For the people who dont understand why the audience is sitting quietly.. it was a sign of respect. Back then people actually wanted to watch the entire show, hear every note sung, see every move made. You cant do that if you're standing and screaming now can you?
YOU are SO right!!! Society has changed from respect to entitlement and from appreciation of true artists to those who merely wish to become recognized for their names...........................
It's prilobably just the occasion and/or the venue. Outdoors festivals back then and more intimate clubs with standing room crowds have always been alive.
Back then when i saw Tina Turner performing , i would mark her . She was known for her unique raspy voice and her amazing legs 🦵🦵 . She definitely will always be remembered 🙏
Google the story about their performance together. It says he was jumping off a piano and landing in the splits. She followed his lead, and did the same with heels on. He said something like "I thought she was trying to keep up with me, but in the end I was trying to keep up with her... in heels"
@@fleetwood7538 Thanks, will try to find it. So many videos of this great lady on RU-vid to watch. She seemed to give it everything when she was on stage. Just wish i could have seen her live. Amazing to watch her sing, dance, and sweat.
I watch Tina regardless what’s going on in the outside world. She was my first concert in Dayton Ohio in 1973. I was 16 years old and was dead center in front of the stage mesmerized❤️
Blessed to see the Amazing Ike and Tina Turner with the Ikettes doing this Live was Incredible and saw her Farewell Tour here Philadelphia with Joe Cocker! Tina Turner is Phenomenal and Simply The Best! December 1st 2020 Happy Birthday to you from Philadelphia Tina Turner!
what are you talking about?? she had never used wigs. She took good care of her hair and I know for sure that it is her natural hair reasons why it never fell out..stop being so hateful and negative with ms. Tina the real queen!!!
@@rafaelnunez4725 really? Shut the hell up nobody's being hateful or negative Tina and her backup singers did wear wigs. I simply said the way they move Im surprise the wigs don't come off.
This type of performance, it’s quite likely she was singing live. But, often, during this time, singers would lip sync for televised performances, because the microphones were not advanced enough to get a good quality recording without recording the cacophonous noise of the audience. HOWEVER. She did perform without the benefit of auto tune. Which is, sadly, almost unheard of in popular music today.
It was a mark of politeness back then to listen to the performance without being a distraction to the rest of the audience. But at the end - wow! Look at that love the audience showed her! There was even a white-haired elderly lady up on her feet smiling and clapping like mad!
@@FleurRebelle Never claimed to be. But I can imagine what a freaking exhilarating JOY it would be if my audience’s energy and mine bounced back off each other. To be a showman that could pull up the energy from a group of people then give right back to them! That has always been a dream of mine. At least I can dream. But I sang with a band once at a kind of club that had like six bars and indoor and outdoor areas. The outdoor deck had 3 floors which was where the band was. They let me do one whole song all by myself. I had to be so brave. I would have been scared to death if I had to wait one more minute to start. An ya know what? People started coming out of nowhere to see who that was that was singing. It was me! I killed it! One of my favorite memories ever!!
If I were on stage, personally, with no one in the audience moving with basically crickets in the background, I would be wondering if I was terrible or what. No feedback would freak me out. Though yes, I do like to concentrate and take in every tiny detail of a performance so as to never ever forget the experience!
Drew Burk She was the headliner of the first concert my parents ever let me attend in1963. To this day, that was the best concert I've ever attended (Marvin Gaye & Bobby (BLUE) Bland were there too, and, of course, Ike & the Ikettes)
@@sereneamani1713WOW!! That's A HELLUVA LINE UP!! I've Seen 1 Clip Of Tina Turner And Marvin Gaye SINGIN' Together On The Shindig Show! It was From 1964 And Tina & Marvin KILLED IT Together ToO!!!
Auch ich durfte Tina 1987 zweimal an einem Konzert in Zürich/Switzerland, erleben. Es war unglaublich und bleibt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Diese Power, diese Stimme, einfach gewaltig. R.I.P.liebe Tina Turner, AnnaMae Bullock❤
Look at her costumes When I was a kid my parents thought she was too provocative. Now her costumes have certainly influenced todays artist. she was certainly ahead of her time RIP
My My My. Mrs. Anna May was the type of performer that lite up the stage when it came to giving the people their 💰 worth. Everytime she performed she gave a outstanding experience.😃❤👏👏👏👏👏
Hey! That dress is where JLO got her design from! So she was NOT the first to wear such a revealing outfit... Tina wears it Well and with more confidence... Tina was more revealing in 1978!!!
@@zionstayfit920 stfu. The op is white. But I'm not. Take you dumb ass to some corner in a whole nother building and have a seat so I dont have to see u.
It didn't matter to Tina if she was performing in front of 1000 or 100.000 she put her all into every performance. Rest in Peace now Tina, you earned your rest. 🎉
What a woman she was in her day and time regarding talent. she really was a true entertainer. you just couldn't take your eyes off her and man cuz she deliver the music. I am so glad that Miss Tina Turner got away from Ike. You have retired but you deserve all the happiness the for the rest of your life is Tina Turner. Thank you.
This woman does the best covers and many times better than the original artist. Nobody worked harder than her. Imagine how much better she could have been if she was not having to battle ike because of drug, insecure, and ego issues. I think ikes. Revue would have fizzled out by 1960 WITHOUT her. Ike got his just deserts in the long run. He died broke, alone, in the GUTTER.
I am59 now saw her in munich when i was 16 my first cocert ever hope you can imaginge was this mean to me never forget tina and the ikettes!!! No more words!proud mary !
Just happened to see this...Tina better dance never saw her perform before I came across this video...she killed it..Young girls in the industry need to take a lesson from her
I loved the re-enactment of this in the movie with Angela Bassett but OMGGG howww could I have NEVER seen the ORIGINAL performance with Ms. Tina Turner HERSELF?!? The movie didn’t do this moment justice I am absolutely blown AWAY!!! Sooo good she KILLED this it can never be another Tina Turner!!!! 🗣💃🏽🔥👑💯😍🥰
