@@robbarber7253 Yeah he should have had one on especially going thru that inlet but most salt water fisherman dont have kill switches attached to wrists.
That is one bad ass dude right there. I thought the prop was going to chop him into shark bait. Probably a good time to go back home and buy some fish at the store
It happened to me 5mi offshore in st.pete, zodiac RIB bucked me off the back circle around straight at me wide open, just a wetsuit got back on over the bow going in circles, made it home took 25hp mercury off gave boat and trailer to neighbor
What an amazing self rescue, first try absolutely hurls himself back into the boat, then after proving manhood and regaining control he shows good judgement and heads back in. Truly impressive!
There is a world of difference separating bravery based on ability and bravery born of ignorance Both can result in disaster but only one has the capacity to get you out of what you got yourself into The other is relying 100% on luck
If you can’t handle chop like that, you really shouldn’t be in the boat in the first place! Kill switches are vital! How about taking a buddy next time? On a separate note, what do you think he told his wife? “Fell off the rich/boat ramp”?
What a fool. He ran that boat without an engine cut off switch attached to his person, which is required to wear to shut the engine off if you fall from the boat. He's lucky he wasn't killed.
