Re-upload of yesterdays video as the audio was out of sync! Minus the unintentional blooper too 😊
Thank you for watching our ear wax removal video today. The ear wax extraction featured in todays video was carried out using endoscopic microsuction. This procedure uses a small camera called an endoscope to visualise inside the ear canal whilst a small suction tube is inserted to gently remove ear wax.
All the ear wax cleaning videos you see on our channel are carried out by our ear wax specialists Mr Rhys Barber and Mr Taylor Green.

We post new ear cleaning videos Monday - Friday at 9PM GMT so if you find ear wax removal satisfying please consider subscribing to our channel.
Ear wax plays a vital role in ear health. It helps to prevent ear infection and helps with ear cleaning by picking up any dirt or debris that accumulates in the ear canal. Normally this ear wax would fall out of the ear taking any dirt or debris with it.
How to remove ear wax?
Many people use q-tips/cotton buds for ear wax removal at home this is one of the worst things you can put into the ear as this can lead to an increased ear wax buildup or in extreme cases impacted ear wax. The best way to remove ear wax is to let your ears clean themselves and not to put anything smaller than your elbow in your ears!
How do I know if I have an earwax blockage?
If you experience a change in your hearing, discomfort in the ear or jaw or a feeling of fullness in the ear canal you may have an ear wax blockage. Our advice is to speak to your Doctor or local Audiologist who can take a look in your ears and assess whether ear cleaning is needed.

I wish someone could relieve my tinnitus! I've been hearing it for at least half of my 65 years! The only difference is, when I've had enough sleep, it's not so bad. But, when I'm tired, sometimes it almost screams in my head!!! I've even had headaches from it! I'd make an appointment with you, but I live a couple of miles too far from you. I hear you. I've got meniere's as well. I've had tinnitus as far back as I remember. I need to be around noise, I sleep with the radio going. Not keen on silence. I remember being 4 or 5 and thing the phrase the sound of silence was the ringing in my ears. When I was early 20s I realised it was tinnitus. My mum asked me why I never said anything to her or dad - my only explanation is that to me this was normal.

@ep9869 yes, I remember when I was very young, 4 maybe, I was sick with a fever. Asked mom what the ringing in my ears was. She said it's from the fever. I still have constant ringing at 69 and it's hard to hear over it. It's so annoying at times. Always asking hubby, "what?" Then he is annoyed with me constantly asking what he said. His next statement is to go get hearing aids.

But in the middle of the night while I was asleep ( I am on heavy sleeping meds so I will sleep) my left ear 👂 started to itch and I must have used my pinky nail to scratch it and it broke off in my ear 👂. It is not painful but I can feel it. I made an appointment with my ENT. I can't get in till June. So I'm trying everyday too get It out.😢😮

I have tinnitus. And I'm pretty sure I've started losing the deeper end of the hearing spectrum. But when I did go to an audiologist when I first noticed it (about 20 years ago), I was told my hearing was within range and that there was nothing to do for the tinnitus. Thankfully, it's usually pretty quiet and easily drowned out with a white noise machine. It's only really annoying when the power goes out or it spikes from a buzzy hum to a shrill ringing. I also lose equilibrium when that happens.

My son had a hearing test today at a audiology centre. The first part of the test he had to listen to peeping sounds. A few peeps were very high and sounded really soft. My son didn’t hear them, but I did! 😮 It really felt like someone was poking with a needle on my eardrum. the audiologist said: “Mom, I see you squinting on sounds like these. Your son has an average hearing, but I think you are the one with a really sensitive hearing.” 😮 It was true what the man said. Those high frequencies really hurt but I thought it was normal for people to hear those high frequencies and that I was acting like a dramaqueen. How is that possible? I never had this before my son was born 🤨 And now it’s understandable that being in a room with people who are having conversations, is exhausting to me. If I stay too long it feels like my head is going to burst and I need absolute silence around me to feel better. Hearing too little isn’t good but hearing too much can drive you crazy.

Check out misophonia. I'm 50% deaf in my right ear but still experience misophonia and have exceptional hearing in my left hear. I struggle with people talking to me if they're not facing me yet sometimes I can here a pin drop. Noise exhausts me too. I find myself putting my hands over my hears. Have you looked into Flare Audio or Loop ear plugs? They work differently so check out both

@@22Purplemist I’ve read about that. I’d read that a person reacts extremely emotional on certain sounds. A person can react in rage or fulblown anxiety. I don’t ‘fit’ that profile. If I am extremely overstimulated from stress, sounds or other stimulants I get physical shutdown. Last December it was so severe that I had symptoms of a brainbleed. I didn’t have one, but the signs where there: wasn’t capable of speaking, I was slurring, couldn’t move my left arm and all I know it was really weird and terrifying. But all this was a reaction on the stress. I really wish ‘they’ knew what the cause is of it all, but doctors don’t know.

@@Art_by_Nicole - misophonia can be a physiological as well as an emotional response. It hurts my ears as well as being an auditory overload amongst other symptoms. It could be hyperacusis Whatever it is I hope you get some answers and hopefully some treatment

I wish we had Dr's that actually do their job. Here they just look, bill my insurance and get my co-pay and send me on my way. I know it's plugged they keep a revolving door and do absolutely nothing!

I’m in my 60’s…. I obsessively clean my ears as much as I floss my teeth & I just can’t imagine people neglecting their ear cleaning regiment like this.

I have been knocked out cold at least 4 times in my life. I also went clubbing twice a month and did not start wearing ear plugs until some time into those days. Do you think I have ear wax build up? Or is my brain damaged? I am very smart: literate, computer programmer, able to speak a few languages, I have a utility patent I wrote myself, etc. So I don't think my brain is badly damaged. But I often have tinnitus. Not every day, but on many days. And sometimes it is REALLY bad. Like a hissing in my skull. Should I have wax removed?
