Ceramic Xtreme incorporates nano-ceramic technology to produce metal-free, color-stable window films that are ideal for your demanding automotive enthusiasts.
The higher VLT shades (86, 80 & 70) are spectrally selective, which means they block heat while letting in light. That's nothing to worry about because he isn't installing the film he is only getting his film prepped....he is showing the shrinkage ability of the different levels of film. Random information related to this video.... The dyed film is the low end film as far as life of the film from breaking down....the lower functionality of inferred blocking ability... infrared light is what causes heat. The dyed film is easiest to shrink and apply. The HP film probably has nano metallic materials to get the film's color and visibility reduction and making it a better film than dyed films.... Having the metallic particles could interfere with GPS and cell phones... It also makes it harder to shrink and a little bit more difficult to install. But you get more infrared protection, a longer lasting film and a better color of film that doesn't have as much distortion as dyed films. The ceramic film..... Like the HP film with the metallics to get the film's durability color and visibility reduction performance the ceramic film replaces the nano Metallics with Nano ceramic. The metallic isn't as durable as ceramic it isn't as hard as ceramic and doesn't have the infrared blocking capabilities as ceramic. This ceramic film is the newest technological advancement in the window film industry and is at the top tier of quality window film. With the Nitto ceramic being harder as with its structure causes the ceramic film to be less forgiving when handling the film. Just holding the window film between your fingers and thumb can cause defects with the film that isn't that intense with the dyed film. The ceramic film and the metallic film shrinks differently than the dyed films and the ceramic film shrinks differently than the metallic film. I think the ceramic film is easier to shrink because the ceramic film requires more heat to shrink it than the dyed film. The ceramic film can be more forgiving on scorching the film but even less forgiving on handling and touching the film. The ceramic films the way to go if the vehicle is worth the extra attention and if the driver and passengers are worth the extra cost and if the ''financial department'' has that bacon, bacon double cheeseburger combo Go Large kind of revenue then get that double bacon bacon double cheeseburger bank account then go get that tint package with the ceramic but if the financial department has that dollar menu McDouble or Whopper Jr bank account then go with the dyed film now if the financial department has that to McDouble french fries drink stay at a medium combo type of bank account then go get that HP. .......Or go on with that dyed film package and get you two seat covers, steering wheel cover and the new set of floor mats with some air freshener for the vent instead of the Christmas tree hanging down. But whatever you do don't waste money by trying to tint windows yourself. It takes most professionals around 3 to 5 years of continuous experience tinting windows before they're at a level where they can efficiently apply window film with minimum flaws within a decent amount of time invested. No matter how great a professional window tinting expert applies window film.....the job is not perfect. Now it may be near perfection but there is always at least a single flaw in everything that is done by man (man includes a woman) if you look for a flaw until you find it. Window tint isn't perfect there's always some defect somewhere it could be in the glass it could be in the film or it could be in the installation process. As long as the flaws or defects are within reason of the cost of services, materials used and the canvas receiving the materials and services then the outcome for the total job is acceptable.
