If this is an adult then I hope she never ever has any peace in life or able to have more children. I don't believe in abortion unless due to certain circumstances. Lots of different birth control around these days😥

As a mother who lost her son by suicide at age 34, I don't understand how a mother could toss a baby away. My heart hurts every day for my loss. Hearing stories like this; sorry I just cannot comprehend how people are born without love inside them. Why?

I will never understand the type of person who can stuff their child into a backpack & leave her in the woods. May this precious child residing in Heaven find peace knowing that complete strangers sends her their love. I'm glad DNA is a useful tool to finding out who did this so the mother will be held accountable for her crimes. RIP Baby Hope!!!

We will never understand it and she will face judgment and our judgment pales in comparison to the judgment that awaits her when she faces the lord. You or I will never understand insanity and fear. There was alternatives to craming a baby into a back pack. And where was this girls mother. What was she doing. Her duty was to support this girl and get her thru and if needed place the child up for adoption. This child was denied a life a chance to grow marry and have children of her own. Instead of a burial. This story has me very upset and I pray for justice for hope. She is considered by God as an innocent. She has been awarded eternal life take comfort in that as for the child's mother. She will not fare very well in God's courtroom

Baby Hope is in the arms of JESUS. I'm sure Hope will look down on her mother & feel sorry 4 her & the bad mistakes she's making in her life. Hope may have been still born conceived in rape or from molestation. Only GOD can judge the mother we can pray 4 the mother 2 b come a better person & ask GOD 4 4giviness. It's heartbreaking stories like this one that just destroys me. My husband and I struggle with infertility. I can't begin to tell you how many nights I prayed or how often I cried whenever another pregnancy test came back negative. Parenthood is such a gift that some simply don't deserve. A silver lining is that my husband and I plan to foster to adopt in the next year or two; our goal being that we want to give our love and home to a child that may need it. Rest in peace, sweet baby Hope. 💜

If you have any friends with newborns, ask them if you can hold them. Some times being around babies triggers a hormone or something, I read somewhere it's the baby scent.

The woman who birthed her carried her full term, so she should have left the baby at an establishment that takes abandoned or unwanted babies. Who honestly knows her story though. Here in Las Vegas we have the Amari Nicholson case where the boyfriend of the mom was arrested on May 11th and they found his body on the 12th after being missing for 6 days. I invested my time helping and still have a ton of fliers left and it left me super heartbroken when he was found. Amari was only 2 year's old! I remember hearing about baby Hope and I am glad you brought some information of a arrest Thank you for remembering and honoring baby Hope!

Yes, may have been stillborn or she had fluid in her airways, needed a little suction and/or needed some stimulation to breathe - and in the situation, a young mother who just gave birth all alone, may have been unable to handle the situation. So when the child died, she put her in the backpack and left it, because she didn’t know what to do, she was scared and panicked, afraid to get in trouble etc. And she just did all she could to displace/forget what had happened. And there may have been some kind of psychiatric issues involved as well. Just so it is said, this is NOT any kind of excuse for what the mother of precious baby Hope did or may have done. Not at all, but it may be part of the *explanation* ... May little Hope rest in peace in Heaven❣️

The saddest Graves I’ve seen was in a small New England cemetery. Parents’ grave, with 10 children’s graves in a line. Everyone of the children had died before the parents. The oldest lived to 18 or so. The rest never made it past toddler.

There’s a grave in my local cemetery, and it’s a couple with their 10 kids. The story here in town is that they had fertility issues and kept having miscarriages, stillbirths, or the baby would only live a couple of days after birth before dying. They kept trying, so they were all a year or so apart in age. I don’t recall if they ever had one who lived to adulthood, I’ll have to go back and look at their grave and the dates. It’s really sad 😔

@@lindaterrell5535 I do genealogy research and my family landed in New England (Rhode Island specifically) in the 1650s. In my family those poor women routinely had 14 to 20 babies. Oddly my family had a high survival rate and proliferated, but SO many did not. Chalk that up to disease, lack of antibiotics and medical knowledge, accidents on the farm.... add open hearth fires, open wells and bodies of water (including the Atlantic Ocean), weapons kept at the ready due to "Indian skirmishes" and wild animal attacks/snake bites and it was a dangerous time to be on the frontier

This just breaks my heart. Ive wanted children all my life,but im not able to get pregnant. I wouldve adopted Baby Hope without a second thought. If you dont want a child,use birth control! Or if you see a pregnancy through and dont want the baby,adopt it out to someone who does. This topic is so important to me.

The saddest ones in any cemetery are the babies and children but I find the ones that are not even given a name just baby girl starmer for example in this place. I know losing a child is traumatic but I just can’t wrap my head around not giving a name to a child even if it’s only on a gravestone. Baby hope deserved better even from scared parents I hope almost that she was born sleeping and wasn’t murdered

@@pegs1659 yes I know that I’m not stupid having suffered a stillbirth and held my dead baby after an exhausting birth myself, but I was trying to be a little gentle so as to not trigger too much anyone who has also suffered the loss of their baby too. A quick look on god knows how many sites or Facebook will show a lot of mothers and some fathers who prefer that term rather than the bald truth of it was born dead! Sorry to be slightly contentious here but slightly triggered here myself

Was the Baby girl grave marker you mentioned old. In the old days they would often wait about a year before baptism before naming the child. If the child died before that their grave would often just say "baby Smith" or whatever the last name was

The only way I can see a mother doing this is if the mother was a child herself. Being that the baby was found in a back pack just makes me think the mother may have still been in school. Its sad either way but until we can find out the full story, I can not judge RIP baby Hope

I don't understand you don't want to be married anymore don't kill, get a divorce. If you don't want to be a mom don't kill your child take them to the police, fire station anywhere. I did because if I was wrong i don't have a problem admitting I was. and like I thought Ron said because of DNA testing in 2019 they found Baby Hopes mother and she has been charged. Am I correct Ron? The part of my comment about getting divorce don't kill the person who you are with, because so many stories out there of this going on. Example: Chris Watts. I apologize I can see where some might get confused.

Sadly not far from where I live { 1 hour North of Toronto } we also had some cases like this one :( One in particular a baby boy was found in a park in Brantford Ontario, and the community all came together and paid for his funeral. They named him Parker :( It's so sad and disguising hearing and seeing cases like this! Rest In Paradise Baby Hope

Wow! That made me cry. I have been to the funerals of four children all between 2 to 2 and a half. The caskets. Not as small as baby Hope's. Parent's broken. My oldest daughter was a little younger than one of my very best girlfriends! I saw my baby girl in that casket. I have met a couple people who had lost a child, I didn't know what it was but they had a demeanor, a feeling. We were quick friends, one day she brought pictures. It was her birthday! She lays in the lil casket. We sobbed together rigt at. work. We left that job at different times and got busy with our lives. To this day I would do anything for that girl!

This is zo sad💔 yesterday a women found a plastic bag whit a death baby in it 😔here in the Netherlands.the police is om the case to try and search for the mother.Rest in Peace little angels🙏🕯️

Makes my heart break. Such innocence that had no chance at all. God needs babies to cuddle with. So that’s my dream for these little ones

I can just imagine how your heart breaks every time you see a child's grave. It breaks all of our hearts to hear about them, but, are glad to "meet" them, through you! You do a fantastic job telling their stories. Thank you for what you do!

Wow I recall this story breaking but I thought from the last report, it would of been solved on the murder of this baby girl. The authorities do have the DNA and cause of death, hopefully the arrest is done soon taking this to court. Justice needs to be done!

He said the cause of death was undetermined. Like to give the mother the benefit of the doubt. Maybe SIDS and she might have been from another country with no command of the English language, here illegally and no money. Scary. Really hope that is the case.

They indicted the mother's DNA profile due to Statute of Limitations running out after 3 years. Charges Brought Against DNA Profile In Wheaton ‘Baby Hope’ Case

RIP Baby Girl Hope 🙏💗🕊️. She's being taken care of by her heavenly Father 🤴🌈. In this day and age there is no reason to abandon a newborn like that....they've made laws where you can drop them off at hospitals, police and fire stations....no questions asked. Glad the familia DNA was able to tell them whom it was.....and waiting for a update as to why she felt there was no other alternative.

The statute of limitations for the crime expires next month, filing an indictment using just the DNA profile means it doesn't.

I lost my baby boy, and yes, I'm lucky enough to have my own personal Angel!!! He was 8lbs11oz, full term and left us within 2days because of a congenital birth defect, he had surgery to repair his diaphramatical hernia, which was successful, but only had 1 lung, the other was only the size of a 50cent piece!!! He would have been 44 this coming June!! I can't even wrap my head around someone taking the life of a child, my heart hurts for that precious baby girl!!!! Thank you for sharing her story, as heart wrenching as it is!!! Whenever I visit the cemetery, I see so many baby and young children's graves that look like they haven't been attended to in a long time, we clean them off, pull weeds whatever, and at holidays I always put a single flower on their little graves!!!

My very first job was mowing around gravestones in our local cemetery. Baby land was my favorite part of the cemetery this was the most decorated and visited area❣️I always took extra care when cutting the grass around these tiny headstones. Baby Hope will not be forgotten.🙏🏻🙏🏻

beautiful to see your channel raising funds for people who have no headstone. my baby boy doesnt have one when he passed i couldt afford one after paying to bury him. i hope one day soon someone decides to gift him one. even if that happens after im gone it would be a lovely gesture. continue to do as you do its beautiful. thanks to all those in the position to donate to.

We lost a son shortly after birth. He’s in a children’s only part of a Catholic cemetery. So many people would have loved this little girl. Very sad.

That's so horrible and sad. I'm betting it was a young teen who felt like she didn't have any support and was afraid of telling her parents. This kind of thing has happened pretty often. Its a shame if that's what happened. It may be the reason that it wasn't publicized.

So sad, babies are gifts from God they should be loved, protected, and cherished. I hope the authorities are not protecting the evil person who did this, hope she’s in general population not in protective custody where the other’s can get to her but I doubt it. Such infant souls as "baby Hope" are conveyed by an angel straight back to God. Never to age and suffer as we who are given a whole mature lifespan. Instead she is spiritually growing with othres like her in heavenly peace and joy.

Hello my friend. Another little story about my father and family. He was the youngest of 9 children in 1897. My Aunt Charlotte was the oldest. They lived on a farm in Pa. There was a diptheria outbreak and the 7 little ones in the middle all died within a week. They had to take them out wrapped in a blanket and lay them in the yard because no one could come out and no one could go in because of the fever. Townsmen would come in a wagon to pick them up and bury them across the street in the cemetery. I have pictures of the 7 small grave stones. Could you imagine going through something like that. How sad to lose children by any means. Again, love to all

So sad that so many children have passed. They were so young and a blessing. The unknown and unclaimed children that are found are the absolute saddest situations to hear of. May all these children rest in peace now. They deserve to be remembered.

When I went back to visit my parents grave in another country after being away and not having seen it for some 33 years, I noticed just above where they lay up against the fence these tiny Baby Graves....there were about 10 or so. I soon discovered they were still born babies and I think the cemetery had made this space for these babies because the parents couldn't afford a plot in the main children's area. I could see some had photos in Death...No stones were or have been erected just simple white wood crosses with their names...it was so sad I found myself fixing their cross head markers and putting flowers back on their Graves as a storm previously had blown everything away. I thought my mother who lays just metres from these babies would have felt so much and protected these little ones having had 13 kids herself and 3 miscarriages and loved having babies so this though warmed my heart. Just thought ild share this but there was also a sinister side to this little set of plots which I won't go into but it was quite horrific. If you want to know let me know and I'll share the horrible story.
