It personally hit home when he says that his "Dad instincts" kicked in As a cat owner, I heard a baby kitten crying out at the near end of winter this year, scouting out the parking lot, I found a mother kicking her baby out and let it freeze. I picked up and nursed it back. Medications, baths and whatnot. Now grown into a big boy and happy with an adopted family

What a sweet story..and I liked that Leo goes everywhere with his dad,that's awesome..this story kind of reminds me of my cat Misha..I found her as a day old kitten under a bush in my front yard..I wasn't going to keep her,I was seriously thinking about suicide because of some stressful things that were going on at the time and I didn't want to adopt a cat and leave it all alone in this world..I was going to try and find a home for her,but it was the weekend and the vet offices were closed..I had someone take me to walmart and I bought a bottle and some kitten formula and some other things to make her comfortable..she was so thin and so tiny I wasn't sure she'd make it through the weekend but I had to at least try to help her..well,she pulled through and I got so attached to her and I decided to keep her..now she is a happy and healthy 4 year old and the light of my life 😊😸❤️🐾

I was never a cat person until I rescued a 3 week old kitten someone left in a convenient store parking lot. It was in the middle of summer. He was starving and dehydrated. I brought him home and nursed him back to health. He is about 3 months old now and will not leave my side. He sits on my shoulder while watching tv and sleeps beside me at night. I wouldn’t trade him for anything. He is a tuxedo with a black face with white around his mouth. He looks like Batman so I named him Bruce. Hard to believe people will abandon such a small helpless animal.
