FYI you can absolutely respect before you beat the campaign just like all the past borderlands. Go to the quick change station and there it at the bottom will tell you what button/key to press to reset skills 👍

Added tip: OPEN EVERY CHEST IN THE OVERWORLD! Some of those are also mimics, and they take you to an encounter similar to the random encounters. The difference is, the mimic encounters are rewarding. They drop a LOT of loot, and some of it will be good (as opposed to the like 2 greens you get from normal random encounters). So do it.

@The warped one.... Do you mean when games were silly and fun, like a few short years ago when people of certain races literally couldn't be certain classes? That seems distinctly un-fun. There's no reason a half-elf or halfling shouldn't be a paladin (like the 2e rules) except that someone else decided how my game world should function. I think that's pretty lame. Or do you mean games based on Lord of the Rings (like first and second edition D&D)? In one of the LotR books, it is referenced that dwarven men and women all have beards, and a non-dwarf could never tell one from the other. Gary Gygax said in the 80s that female dwarves have beards. So are you hearkening back to the good old days when gender norms were non-binary (for at least one race)? Or do you prefer playing in games that feature the "Girdle of Gender Transformation" that swapped male characters to female and vice versa? Making people trans as a joke is pretty cruel. If you're not trans and someone forced your character to become so, wouldn't that be annoying? So what about a character who seeks out that item on purpose, in the classic game you're talking about? There's no rule that says you have to *dislike* wearing an item that, according to description, is "cursed." Or what about the game where all the black-skinned elves, black-skinned dwarves, and black-skinned gnomes are all objectively evil? Was that more fun? Seems pretty un-fun for anybody who happens to like elves but also thinks black people deserve, say, normal human rights. I'm just curious which of those happy, fun, classic game settings appeal to you - because they're all D&D.

@The warped one.... I'm 38 and I've been gaming 34 years, too, what's your point? If you're unable to cope with discussions about traumatic topics like "racial equality" and "entire races of nonbinary people who are a fantasy staple since the genre was invented," then by all means, create a safe-space for yourself and let your players know what your trigger words are so they don't hurt you by saying them. Another tip: there are multiple ways to open chests and boxes in this game. You don't have to run up to them and open them, but you can also run and slide into the boxes & chests or even MELEE them to open them, JUST in case it is a mimic and you can get the drop on them early. I melee all boxes and chests instead of running up to open them!

if you walk near dungeons tina will tell you if it has a shrine piece or not, if you clear a dungeon your flag will be outside too which is helpful

small note, you actually cannot fire Blackpowder pistols and cast spells at the same time since Blackpowder pistols have a "fan the hammer" animation that occupies your offhand you normally use for spellcasting.

I know it's an old comment, but maybe if you only use their semi automatics. A full auto pitonrod can be used while using a spell despite needing to use the side crank to shoot

The Air melee atk was in borderlands the pre sequel as a butt slam they had they’re own mods and in borderlands 3 whenever you had zero gravity you could do it as well

Slamming came into the borderlands universe in Borderlands The Pre Squeal. It was a called "Butt Slam" in this game, but the concept was laid down here. In Borderlands 3, we got the Melee Slam ability along with Mantle Climbing.

I like the melee attack animation loop. All it takes is a back and forth motion to look and feel like your character is actually fighting rather than just "hitting one time repeatedly." I might try to get this game on PC, though I doubt it would work (a 2017 "gaming" laptop).

one thing to add bout mimics is they can even spawn in the over world and if u go into a encounter there will be two mobs that are invincible to all damage expect melee. and they will keep running all over the place and some times try and hide as a random chest etc if ya see them do this, just give them a wack to reveal them selves

There are also items that alter the ground slam, doing the slayer of Vorcanar side quest gives you an item that makes your ground slam trigger a homing fireball

Also remapping controls for console is a big help, put melee on your aim and aiming on the stick and switching it to toggle helps alot... if you're mostly melee. No need to aim as hip firing is pretty good 👌

I just started playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Assault on Dragon Keep and it is a pretty good game and it’s really relaxing to plus I love looter shooter games. This is my first time playing a Borderlands game (even though it’s not really Borderlands and it’s a spin-off of it) I’m enjoying it and think I will get into the regular Borderlands games pretty soon and just recently I just bought the Series X version of TTW the next level edition. I’m going to play that game as soon as I get done beating Assault on Dragon Keep, thanks for this video bro and happy gaming.

Something very important to note and I wish it was in the video: the LOST LOOT gimmick only works if your game is set to "cooperation". The machine does not function at all in "competition" mode or whatever clever little mash up word they used.

Having a shooter/caster class mixed with a melee class is a good thing usually to my experience Running Brr-Zerker and Spore Warden, I just summon three tornadoes, do a lot of damage and fire rate due to frost guns, Iron Squall, and etc, and due to the BrrZerker capstone cooldown times are just a suggestion as well as ability durations so long as there's a hoard in the area Now I wanna try Stabbomancer with Spellshot, could be fun, there's a bunch of melee-buffing spells I see and the crits would do nicely

@@CHoward20 the lack of post launch support is what really killed it in the end. They wanted it to be the next big Esport but were not willing to do anything to make that happen. If they had sold it as a FPS MOBA with some other elements sprinkled in then they wouldn’t have been in direct competition with overwatch. wish I could at least still play single player.

You can respec without beating the game, the only thing locked behind beating the game is respeccing the secondary class choice you made, but the talent points and the attribute points are respeccable at any point.

If you do coop mode you will both complete any quests you do on your playthrough while playing together. It will be linked to whoever is "player 1" and their current quests.

The Mimics are introduced in the Tiny Tina dlc in BL2 ^^ Oh and you can respec your skills before you beat the game, only thing that you only can change your second class after you beat the game.

One extra thing you missed about Mimics, overworld map opening chests, sometimes you will find one and it will take you to a mimic arena ! Worth hunting down :)

I feel kinda dumb now realizing about those healing barrels. I'm into 5-6 hours into the game and tried to avoid them thinking they are like the other damaging barrels (explosive or something). Especially after I died several times from them elemental damage barrels. Thanks, Legacy Gaming!

Oh man I didn’t know about the purple skulls. I seen them tried to pull them prob even shot them but sometimes there’s so much shit flying around I must have missed it. Thanks good tip. There is a mimic level that you can get to from finding a mimic in the overworld. Don’t be like me and melee the overworld mimics the level is worth doing.

Someone already said it, but yes you can respec before beating the game. Go to the quick change station in the tavern, and press "X" if you're on Xbox.

you can respec whenever you want, you dont have to complete the game first, the game just first tells you about repec after you complete it. i respeced a few times during my playthrough...

10:10 you no longer have to beat the game to respect just go to change station and you'll be able to restart your skil trees any point in the game as long as you have a change station you'll unlock a secondary class after chapter 4 and that requires you beat the game to change.

u can cast spells o wow... but on a serious note. if you are DOWNED you can use spells... REALLY usefull for getting back up. really if its like a blackhole like spell.

Great vid but I disagree re warden zerker. Its a pretty op combo with zerker as the secondary class. Focusing on gun/ability dmg with a lot of frost.

i am using it now and i agree frost cyclone with the zerker capstone skill is lethal easily one shotting bosses and cyclones never end during encounters. also the frost smash is great to finish off bosses or high health targets.

Awkward when im a ber-zerker and i chose the spore warden as my second class… 😂 i think they work well together as ber-zerker focuses on frost and the spore wardens tornados are frost and wreck enemies with a frost build!

It's a very good combo for frost and gun builds, which I'm doing. I used the ice tornado, all the Frost damage skills I can get, then I buffed my enrage a bit, and got some gun and kill skills from SW, and the ability fir the mushroom to tank and revive me. It's nice to not have to worry too much about needing a poison weapon or spell. It allows me to focus on carrying the other elements instead, which is also why I kinda wanna play a SW/Claw combo, then your pets can cover 2-3 elements for you, really bringing down how much equipment you need to carry late game to deal with all the health bars. When he said it was a bad combo, I think he just meant, if the combo isn't supporting how you want to play, then it would be a bad choice or a choice you would wish you could change before the end, but I get it.
