those little tiny attenuators are useful too, i use a 1 watt one basically as a 50 ohm termination on the input of my oscilloscope so i can watch the rf envelope from a sampled signal of the transmitter's output
For what its worth, I left a comment on someone's video about a 1kw, 50 ohm dummy load. The video had nothing to do with the topic. So apparently YT analyzes the comments you leave for suggesting videos. Good to know, I guess. Anyway, it looks more or less like the square attenuator only about 2 shoe boxes in size and oil filled. Also, no output since its just a dummy load.
