Wilfred Buck recently had a book launch for Tipiskawi Kisik: Night Sky Star Stories. On its launch day there was over 130 in attendance, and the book sold nearly 150 copies. Oh how I absolutely love it when he says......its not only the Greek & Roman culture that have the capacity to have intellectual thought & philosophy.

Totally agree. In that statement alone it should so widely illuminate any reduced impressions of indigenous people. They have not been treated as human. And we collectively and genuinely must restore indigenous peoples trust.

Tansi! Im from northern alberta. we just say ' tipiskaw' ... night time. 'kisikohk' can be day or night sky! kitchi- kisikohk= the heavens, where the star beings reside, and totem beings too✨️
