TIPON - INCA HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING MASTERPIECE
The Incas were the heirs of previous achievements, achieved by the effort and response capacity of the groups settled in the different areas of the geography where Tahuantinsuyu was developed.
In this way, once again the Inca culture gives us another feat of its engineering, the archaeological complex of Tipon shows us the connection of man with water, its role as an agricultural laboratory, and mainly its impressive hydraulic technology. A real engineering achievement to transport water from a natural spring through different channels, both horizontal and vertical skillfully built, as well as the use of an impressive aqueduct that crosses a ravine to shorten distances with all its irrigation systems. The American hydrogeologist Kenneth Wright has published a book on these hydraulic structures, which have earned him the title of "Water Engineering Masterpiece of the Inca Empire" at the American Society of Civil Engineers.
A look at Tipon represents a great challenge for engineers and architects. The respect for the natural environment and the technology used to mobilize the waters of the springs are a model of hydraulic engineering at the service of man and nature that still stand for more than 5 centuries since its construction. The archaeological park of Tipon constitutes another sample of the greatness of the Inca culture.

why arrest people using these terraces? the andes could become an agricultural giant if they used these old and yet very efficient technologies.

The Inca built upon this megalithic site that was thousands of years old, possibly dating to Younger-Dryas times.

Correct parts of the Inca highland foot roads are built for tall 7 or 8’ tall people and the Inca natives that live there now are about 4’10”

I think that the civilization that built Sacsay Huaman in Peru and in the valley of Cusco were not of the Younger Dryas period but the survivors of that time. That's why they went high into the Andies to avoid another flood if one came again. They still retained some of their tech but lost infrastructure so they built where they knew it would be safe. Just my thoughts🙂

The Inca werent much more than tribal villages. No sophistication to them. They are the 3rd civilization to build in that area and being the last and all the rocks were reletively small and ill fitting and were on top so that means others were there first and second and they were the ones that created the megalithic structures not the Inca. To many content creators simply repeat mainstream dating which is mostly wrong concerning megalithic building. The mainstream is being paid off by religious groups who dont want the real history of mankind known to the public because it would undermine their authority and power over the masses. Thats my beliefs
