No they’re not which sucks, basically your unofficial score is what you got on all 130 questions. Then your official score excludes the sample questions. Luckily though, the more I’ve read and heard other experiences it seems like most people only lost/gained a few points. As long as your not super close to that 157 score you should be good.

@@emilvyskocil5154 oh man, that’s nerve racking I scored a 167. Passing is 162 where I live. Based on what you heard is that enough of a margin to feel good about my score? I literally can’t find any information about this anywhere. Your video was super helpful by the way, couldn’t find nearly as much info about the test anywhere else.

@@sladesharma4766 You are cutting it a little close, but I wouldn’t panic. I would say be somewhat prepared to take it again. Thank you, I’m surprise that there is really nothing out there about this exam.

Is 157 a failing rate? I got 157 just today :'(

@@kristianehussenmaratas6525 that should be passing! When you get your official results it they will having the passing rate for your state and university.

An hour or two each day should be good! Also, make sure to be studying your weakest sections a little more during that time.

Yup I bought one of the ETS practice exams which helped gage where I was with content. The economic portion was more about theory for me, but I did have to calculate things like opportunity cost and GDP. Mostly theory though and the calculations were simple enough where you did not need a calculator.

Thanks man! I took a practice exam from the website you linked in the description ( www.teacherstestprep.com ) and I got a raw score of 76% without much studying. I think an unofficial score (without adjustments due to pilot questions) would be 176? I only need a 152 to pass in my state. How much alike are the practice questions from www.teacherstestprep.com to the ones you bought from the ETS website?

@@stonehelsel4845 sorry for responding so late but I’d say they’re pretty similar. For my exam I feel like there were some more obscure questions at times. Hopefully you ended up passing!

@@emilvyskocil5154 Thanks dude. I’m taking mine in about a week and an half. I took a different practice exam and I got a raw score of 191 (91% of the questions right + 100). Hoping for the best on the real thing tho.

I hope someone who had sat for the exams recommend a good study set. I took my exam this noon, using the study sets I purchased two months ago from the ETS website (Forms 1, 2 & 3 @ $24.95 each). I studied hard and got 100% in all three practice tests last night. I thought I was prepared enough to take the test. Unfortunately, only about 40% of the actual test questions were found in the 3 forms. I felt like I was misled into studying detailed informations about topics that won't be asked in the exams anyway. I hope ETS will stop selling these materials. They are clearly just money making schemes.

I took the Praxis Core exams a year ago. I used the free reviewer from Khan Academy and got 196, 196, and 182 in Praxis Core Math, Reading and Writing, respectively. Considering that Im a new immigrant and English is just my third language -- not to mention that I was last in school some 20 years ago -- my kids thought it was amazing. I credit my passing easily to having very good and complete review materials. Now I thought the study sets I got for Praxis Social Studies were good because I bought it nowhere else but from the ETS website itself. I was conned. Can anybody here recommend to an old man a review material that good and complete?
