Unfortunately we have an issue with my 5year old son's pump in bolusing in smartguard mode. . For 6am-12am insulin to carb ratio is 16. For 54 gram carbs during last 45 days it sending not needed amount of insulin, for example instead of 3.725, pump sends 2.275. It always does a negative adjustment and during the lasting 2-4 hours we observe BG above 200, until it reaches 290. And it becomes too late autocorrects which at the end more than required amount. And we don't know how to defeat this 'bug' of insulin Pump. Is there any one who has experienced such situation.? And is there any body who knows how to solve this problem? Do we need to switch it to manual mode?

@@MedtronicDiabetesUS no direct mail address for this purpose I have found. Also too late response to my request. We live in Azerbaijan, and obtained this pump in Turkey. Contact mail for medtronic Azerbaijan representative is also not working, so I could not reach anybody who can support in such situations. And our educator asked to give pump some time, but unfortunately we have not any result regarding to this problem. I have checked and read all medtronic manuals and there is not any recommendations or advices for such situations. Need exact answer/recommendation for solving this problem. It's not clear why pump did negative adjustment to required insulin dose. And need instruction step by step how to make pump to work correctly. Will switching to manual mode will solve this problem? During this day all time it wos observed SG/BG levels between 200-300. It was already past over 3 hours after meal, only now it was downed to 186. You know we afraid to give kid meal to eat. And that is a big problem. And nobody from Turkey or Azerbaijan has contacted with me. So sorry for writing about my problem here, I just hope finally I will get feedback/support from medtronic team related to minimed 780g.

@@MedtronicDiabetesUS dear medtronic team call numbers of technical support for Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan is not available. And I need immediate action/support from your side. I have a problem with minimed 780g insulin Pump, and there is no one whom I can contact. I can't imagine that medtronic's after sales supports may be in that level. Please, help. That is not only me faced with the problem related to pump. I know some families with type 1 diabetes who uses this pump for treatment T1D of their kids, but no available thecnical support
