Can you explain why I should make multiple beds not just in my base waterfall? Suffer the consequences? Don't understand. Do you mean to do that to auto save?

​@@Rodelero Multiple beds are good because i think you sleep better in the bed (need less sleep) and can work on your neurons for skills. If you make beds near areas of importance to you (like basalt for a chopper), you can find your resource faster. You can also use it as a temp base, leaving piles of things you might need on your trip so when things respawn around the base, you have double the resources available. As for the consequence, enemies. Sleeping on the ground leaves you vulnerable to being attacked by the wildlife around you. In order to sleep, you can't have anything in your action hand (right hand), but if you have a weapon of some sort in your off hand (left hand), then you can still fight back when you wake up and get the timed attack. I'm not sure how accurate the "a cat spawns when you're on the ground too long" is, as it seems to be more based off where the spawn is for the animals. I pretty much never see the cats unless i'm near their territory, and i spend a lot of time on the ground. That said, it seems like it changes per game, since i had a clan that settled in an oasis and we were attacked multiple times by the cat seemingly spawning out of thin air while the next time through i rarely saw the cat in the same location (i wanted to hunt it down but had trouble finding it). Other thing to note is that, once an enemy is dead, they stay dead until a time skip. So if you defeat a snake and wander around for a year before doing any skip (birth, generation, evolution), it stays dead so that area is relatively safer after you defeat the enemies nearby.

And then get attacked by a saber

If I’m traveling I usually try to time it out so that I only sleep when I’m next to a river or water source, take a few sips before sleeping and then fill up fully after sleeping. Usually if you do this properly, I wake up around 5, and can go through the entire day without eating or drinking water until that cycle is ready to restart (around 18:00-19:00)

Actually you can. Analyze another hominid, or switch and analyze the one you were originally controlling. Hope that helps

Ye it’s to jump, but if you hold it while you move then you sprint. Then stop moving before you let go of spacebar and you won’t jump. Lol it’s a pretty weird system but that’s how it is.

It’s less whether or not it’s tough, and more that (some areas) don’t feature such convenient happenstance at all (like, breaking a bone out of reach of said trees will severely slow you until that gets taken care of, and being made to bleed a distance away from kopok trees gets _worrying_ . If you can shield yourself against the injury beforehand, scrambling to fix shouldn’t be necessary.

You don't need to hold the triggers, you only need to hold and let go to swing and jump off

The ugly girl 09 it can be hard to hear the “ding” when you kill other animals. In the start where I didn’t kill animals I was also confused why people were saying it’s hard to hear but know it can be hard.

The music gives you cues too...some music plays when a snake is close for example. Big cats stalk you so the music doesn't help, in any other case it helps a lot.

Jacob Hammond No problem man. All you gotta do is get a branch from a tree. Get a rock and shape the branch into a spear. Then you go and find a place near the river and fish. Simple as that.

I just started, and I probably restarted my lineage 4 times before I finally decided I was comfortable and ready to not start from scratch this lineage. Took me a while to realize that elder females were my expendables.

I only did this twice once because I discovered fall damage can kill and once because I panicked and fucked up a dodge against a snake

I didn't exit the game before it could save but I restarted the game like 5 times until I was confident enough. It worked fine for me.

I have no patience to play this game but I'll go slow and try unfortanetely my lack of patience always make me kill myself

You need to hit the tigers with 3-5 sticks to kill them. Sometimes the stick breaks instead of doing damage. When you're nearer to the end of the game you might even get one-shot kills.

I evolved my apes to kill at the highest efficiency making my apes apex

Feel like the cats are weird. On one lineage I hit one with multiple sharpened sticks (had a group that couldn’t fight back with me) and it still wouldn’t die, on another lineage (earlier and not as advanced) I killed a macchi on the first encounter, solo, with a blunt stick. Like, both of these lineages were within reach of the first evolution, if not after it, but that was really weird to have happened.

I think it’s best not to spend to much time with one generation, as having more babies leads to more mutations. You can search for more adults to add to your clan, if you add another female to your clan that 6 skills you can reinforce and etc, also as long as you unlock the skill you don’t have to train to unlock it again just need to re-earn the neurons Also I think you should only evolve if you think it’ll push your timeline up by 1 million years as it seems every 1 million years is a new species, not 100% on this though

@@xterros3514 I think you might be right. I'm almost entertaining the idea of moving forward a generation after unlocking four skills. Sorta like treating generations as a level-up, but I can't be sure. Will try it out myself but keep a look out on helpful tips that I can find online (Firesparks video's are SO helpful!)

@@NicoUnken also if you get meteorites you get an additional 2 reinforcements for that generation I've had 10 reimbursements

There is a nueron in the evolution menu thing that u can unlock that gives u more time when dodging and counter attacking

When you become aware of a predator, you will enter a heightened state of awareness. You can either defend or dodge depending on what you have in your hands. Hold A to prepare for the attack, and there will be a cue that tells you when it's best to release A. Aim your movement away to dodge, aim towards to defend.

You can find basalt under liftable rocks

Takes like 10 hit with a chopper to kill a tiger and 2 spears. I usually keep a chopper on me and just spam out spears

@@oblivi0n99 It depends on luck and Neurons. I one-hitted a python mith Chopper, where i Need 3 spears with bad luck…..but yu are Right, spamming spears is more effective, but ALWAYS carry a Chopper with you !

elder gets tired faster and has a lower life expectancy, however they aren’t scared of new areas. Adults are vice versa. i would honestly recommend using an elder female, because they are fertile, can’t have babies, and are no longer useful to the clan and it won’t be so bad if you lose one of them

You shouldn’t need to have internet connection to play this game. If on Xbox you will have to set your console as your home/main console in order to play any of your games offline. PlayStation doesn’t matter, no settings need changed, PC shouldn’t matter either

I found that holding space when going through leaves gets you to latch on to it. It gave me a menu on what to do once I grab on but it seems to work by just pressing space in leaves for me!

Release jump and then immediately hold jump again as you're flying through the air and that will prime U2 grab anything that you can grab and also you have to hold forward on either the keyboard or a joystick to carry your momentum and then right as your feet swing forward at the maximum forward point release and you'll get a super jump off the swing

Basically each ape has 3 states elder adult and baby elder has less health less energy and stamina but doesn't have fear of the unknown, the adult is the peak of the ape best health, chance of learning, stamina and energy , . The baby can't do much but doesn't lose food or water and can learn by being on an adult's back

FoxTN Gamer th Ebola of the game is to evolve the way you do that is by pressing the evolution button. Everything you do in the games adds years (which is good) so eventually you will get to human. You apes dying puts you back 25k years or so every kid is plus 25k. So when you skip a generation the elders die without any setbacks and your kids grow up to become stronger

@@antihypocrite510 it's only 5000 years on console not sure if it's different on pc but I typically shoot for around 4 or 5 gens ,5 gens gives you 30 births which will give you a 150,000 year boost would be 750,000 if it was 25,000 per baby

Carry a sharpened stick and/or rock with you always so you can defend against attacks. Having more apes on your expedition will also help intimidate predators. You can also intimidate while climbing.

Have 2 babies with you they give you neuronal energy and buff it like a huge buff and btw they learn your actions.

Shadow In back of you it’s a skill you can unlock later where they automatically attack when attacked

Hold a weapon in your main hand, give it to one of your clan members. If you have the right neuron, they'll attack when threatened.

Vakars on PS4 you hold x but when you let go of x while moving you jump. To cancel the jump stop moving before releasing x. Idk for Xbox or pc

When you unlock the 3rd species you can hold right trigger and a to run fast

Btw the 3rd species is around 7 mil years

you can jump using the A button on the xbox controller. Its one of the first things the game teaches you

First you need to find fertile female (only adult, not elder), male on the other hand can be adult or elder. Then you need to form a couple, you do so by grooming partner (listen to audio cues). Sometimes there is bug and process of grooming is not advancing (sometimes they stuck drinking, eating or doing monkey business). In this case command partner to follow you, and go to sleep (for few hours), when you wake up partner will "unstuck". Moving on, after you groomed partner 5-6 times you "form couple", then go to "bed" (leaf pile) and "call for mate", after you mate you should have option to "give birth". Hope it will help.

@@jamessuhandy9061 No sleep is needed; just an adult female with a male who are not family related. I had a hard time with this, too. Hold the groom button until you hear a very faint sound that is a bit like two maraca shakes. Then you'll see bonding go up a bit. Do this again a couple more times until the Bonding bar is full. Once you have a partner, go to a sleeping area, lay down and call your mate. You'll then be able to breed.

After you release jump button and start flying, hold jump button again and the stick in the direction you want to swing. You will grab and swing and the timing of your release is critical for getting max distance. Practice makes perfect❤
