In the manual it says each inverter (in parallel) should have its own CB for grid and load ports respectively. However, Keith is saying in this video that two (or more) inverters should share one CB for load and one CB for grid. I’m I misunderstanding something?
How is the difference between single phase and 3 phase? In essence can I use a 3-phase inverter with my single phase meter (grid supply) for a hybrid solar solution? Does a larger inverter have more benefits than a parallel system? Any helpful information on going about this is welcome (counting the cost before embarking on hybrid solution).
Good day. I recently bought a second hand RCT inverter (4000W 48V) and connected it. It has been working well, but it was a slave unit from wherever it was connected. How do i reset it to main unit? It started beeping showing a warning 'HS' on the screen and it does it now and then lately. Please help
Hi Keith, two questions, Dd the inverters have to be balanced i.e. Do you have to have the same numbers of inverters on each phase or can you have 2 inverters on one phase and 1 inverter on each of the other phases? Also, do all the inverters have to be the same size i.e. 5,8 or 16kw or can you mix them at all?
Question on a 3.6KW inverter G98 what circuit breaker do we fit as I thought it had to be 16Amp to comply but I see if we connect say water heater and a washing machine to the load size I see pass through current is 32amp 🤔 I assume that's via battery so it still can be a 16 amp as it cannot draw or send back more than 16 amps to grid?
Hello. As I understand inverter 1 should connect to l1, inverter 2 to l2, inverter 3 to l3. They all share one battery pack. Inverters should not use their own batteries in separate . What will happen if for some reason with power outage L1 will be disconnected, or L2 with L3? And what will happen when phase/phases will be connected back again to an underpowered inverter/inverters? What will happen if for some reason L1 will be swapped with L3, or L3 with L2 etc on the input of the inverters? I’am looking into building a setup when three inverters will be connected to three phase power network and my home equipment will be connected to one phase that will be shared between three inverters.
What appears to be a common problem is that input phase rotation is correct put it switches on output despite correct modbus and phase assignment settings. Helpdesk advice is to change settings on L2 and L3, making L2 in phase C out and L3 in, phase B out. Surely this is not the right way to go about things? The phase sequence should be maintained from input to output without the need to "fool" the inverters
Why do the cables from the busbar to the inverter need to be the same lengths? Each leg is going to pull the amount of power based on what is being used so it should be the shortest. The statement "you are going to have problems" is very vague. Can you elaborate? I can agree that the battery to bus bar should be equal lengths, but assert that busbar to inverter should be shortest length.

Can I have one hybrid system with 3 5kw hybrid inverters. But only two of them connected to the battery, and the third one acting as a solar inverter only? Will I still be able to limit my total export power across all 3 inverters?
