You’re an inspiring teacher. Thanx for sharing your skills and sewing talents. Your speaking and presentation skills are topnotch and that’s what makes these teaching videos the very best available.
Thank you again Angela I greatly enjoy all the time you put into teaching us for free, I greatly appreciate it as Im on a disability pension and its not fun being sick at a young age, as I have a terminal cancer and I look forward to your videos, weekly. When I'm resting I spend a lot of time doodling and drawing until I'm ready to quilt. But I just want to send you a hug virtual hug and say thank you
@@Sharon-pb7so I am still drawing everything out in a white board that I recently purchased. Doesn’t seem great yet. But will shift to fabric squares soon to practice.
Thanks for all your work and sharing it with us. I am waiting for the whole project to be finish so I can put it on my longarm and do it all all at once so I don't tie up my machine. Saving all your videos.
I have free motioned, in my own fashion, for many years...but am finally taking time to really learn designs and patterns. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into these tutorials! I might have been binging all of the past one’s the last few weeks! I love this panel and feel like it is turning out well enough that I will display it on my living room wall. Have the extra fabrics, so there might be a companion quilt on a sofa soon, too. Love learning via your method of teaching...very user friendly!
When quilting on my friend's longarm the first time, I was trying to do Holly leaves on a Christmas table runner. I could do the inward curves on the leaves going away from me but coming back, they all bumped outward. I finally started telling myself "curve in, point, curve in, point" - by repeating the mantra in my head, I was finally able to do them. And, no, I didn't rip out the bad ones because I was using busy fabric and Angela (AGAIN 😉) is right - no one has noticed it yet after years of using it. If I hadn't found Angela, I'd probably still be doing crosshatching or loopy meander. Love, love, love 💘 her approach!
Thanks for another helpful video Angela. Love all the designs in this challenge and appreciate the different ways you demonstrate how to approach quilting them. Keep up the good quilt faith.
I’ve done the meandering flower before but I was making a longer swirl. The short swirl is making more sense. Thank you for your explanation. It will be easier to make.
I love the serpentine flower. I’ve not seen that one done before. You explain it in a way I can easily understand. I think that will be on my practice board.....thank you so much!
I have, so many times, told quilters where I live to come watch you on RU-vid! I love your style and attitude, your knowledge gives me hope that I will be able to do this too! Just got Taj and Slim in the mail yesterday and I’m headed out to my moms longarm to test the theory that I, too, can quilt! 😍🥰
Thanks sew much for sharing all your expertise. You are a delight to watch. After the center beginning swirl of a flower, how do you keep the petals in each round facing center nicely? Mine tend to start leaning as I go around. Am I the only one with this struggle? Thank you.
You tips are so helpful. I do have frustration using templates with my brother machine: the upper thread breaks constantly. I checked manual, rethreaded, decreased the tension, checked the needle, etc. is there something else im missing. You make it look so easy and flowing Thank you
Great challenge! What do you do when you are bunched up with fabric? I have a area that has a fold and noticeable. How can that be fixed or do I need to take out?
Hey Angela, if I can do a design on my dry erase board and not on the machine. What's my problem??? On the other hand I can't get the design on the marker board but can do it on the machine. I must have a very confused personality. 🤔😳😲
The line drawings really help me. I found the angle of the camera a little flat and difficult to understand what you were describing to do. I’m older new free motion quilter
