you guys should add more options like the growler for a middle price that offers middle range/xr range with top speed closer to xr but still a smaller tire than the xr to allow better carving. Also extended batteries are a must for to stay relevant. Perhaps other onewheel accessories such as a lift kit. Perhaps a more powerful motor to better climb hills. The onewheel xr has not had any real redesigns besides "new" hardware and updated firmwares. There is also the plaguing issue of the front LED intermittently messing up that i have on my 4212 that i have warrantied, now on the second time (not mad just giving an example for improvement). Just really looking for something a little different and i think the growler might fit that niche. Not hating on onewheel as I am absolutely addicted and want to constantly be onewheeling, honestly wish I could get a job with you guys on the east coast when yall look to expand. Something that also might help you guys generate more revenue on older boards would be the extended battery upgrades. That honestly would answer the prayers many onewheelers have. Range isn't really a problem on street, the trails just eat the battery and that is mainly what i ride on. i only ride street if i dont want to go somewhere or my ankles need a break. I think another good idea that they could include that would help them generate a lot/more revenue would be to offer more options with their onewheel. For example, offering different tires/different bearings/offering a more "water resistant" option. People would pay for this in a heart beat especially since it would be coming from FM themselves and people really like the warranty they offer. I do understand that it might be hard for a niche board sport but i think the benefit outweighs the cost. Not to mention, people would go absolutely bonkers with the idea of having their board modifiable upon checkout. Also different tire options would be really cool as different tires make the onewheel look like an absolute beast! Heck even being able to choose a different colored LED would be awesome. You could easily make 20$ off of a simple soldering job and done. You guys have all of the tools and everything, it would just make their process a little more difficult by making it a little less efficient due to the now increased supplies when manufacturing onewheels. A simple price increase should be more than enough incentive for FM to want to make these options available. Not to mention, this would absolutely share the stoke and make many more people want to buy them. A lot of people want a specific build but want to just buy it outright and call it a day. I would be more than willing to help FM out on the East coast and honestly hope i can make my hobby i love, a career. Whether through ideas or even putting in hardwork. I truly love onewheeling and I really want to see this company grow and show its full potential. One minor thing. FM should take a tour of the East coast to try and spread the stoke as well. That would be totally awesome and i would most definitely come along. But only if they would let me ;) Again not hating FM, i really love you guys and your company. I just want to be apart of the company that used to believe in pretty much doing anything to the board and just floating with it because that is the main founding principle of this company. Also, really nice video onewheel! Also I hope ya respond just to show that you saw my comment and are listening out there :) #FloatOn
haven't seen the video yet but I actually set up a custom profile with the ride angle further back than normal for the hills. seems to work but i'm only ever cruising around 4-5mph on the dirt.
Trotter is on the 2nd lap and closing in on future motion. Soon other brands will be available mostly Chinese. Check out beastboard viper, double the range than Onewheel XR for $550.
Absolutely smashed it on this video - I am mid 30's, I have an arthritic condition and I broke my back back when I was 18..... I am probably the last person to have one of these boards but they're such fun, the nose dives are almost always user error outside of mechanical fault and they go more than quick enough anyway. Enjoy the ride, carve it out and don't let a fall put you off!
Yeww! You guys smashed it on this video! The advice and tips you gave will really help a lot of people as it’s incredible how capable the Onewheel is if you know how to control it 🙌⚡️
I was on a Pint going up a very steep paved incline, very fast (I am light), and ate it heavily. The Pint just shut down and nose-dove. This is a feature, not a bug. Skin lost and lesson learned.
I’m glad you all are making these trail series videos. The trail capability of Onewheels really make them a gem. Maybe a video about how to best use the different shaping settings on the trail would be beneficial.
I totally bailed once on a rough gravely uphill trail when I switched to my Burris treaded tire from the Vega. Got a little too excited being able to go fast offroad up a hill and took a hard nosedive. I was so in the zone I totally forgot to run it out 😅
I don't understand how that board still looks so fresh after climbing that hill, mine is always caked in dust after a kilometer or two on the trail. Float on!
When riding up hill, if you see an obstacle that you need a little burst of power to keep your momentum, bend your knees and lower your center of mass while you hit it. This will effectively reduce your weight momentarily and give the OneWheel an extra boost of power. Be careful when you straighten your legs again; as you rise your center of mass again it is going to tax the OneWheel a little more.
Dude, they offer credit and you can pay like 35$ a month. Build your credit, build your life. 👍💪 i used to smoke cigarettes, i was smoking about a pack a day, in one month the money was the same as a brand new jeep RUBICON payment. I quit smoking and bought the rubicon. There is always a way, be clever , U got this , Its gonna be a great summer 💪
When I was 14, I made money mowing lawns, I was a bus boy for a local restaurant, and I washed windows. You can make a lot of money washing wingdows with very little investment.
