TIPS for working with MOTION GRAPHICS TEMPLATES in Premiere Pro - changing duration, adding effects

In this video I share a few tips for working with motion graphics templates from After Effects that are meant to be used right in Premiere Pro. I talk about changing duration of motion graphics templates in Premiere Pro and also a few techniques that can come quite handy when using motion graphics templates in general. I use and can absolutely recommend motion graphics packs from Peter McKinnon and Matti Haapoja - check out links to them at the bottom of the description.

Do you know why when I try the 'Add Frame Hold' is not possible to select because its greyed out?

I downloaded free template but I can not adjust the speed 100% . just Duration. What can I do ? Is it because of the file? or I missed something?

It should be possible to adjust speed of any clip that is on the timeline. No matter if it’s a video clip, adjustment layer, motion graphics or AE template. You can send me a screenshot via Twitter, maybe I’ll be able to help

And to me, once again, nothing is like on the screen in the tutorial. When I click on the title, it opens a window to edit everything BUT the duration. And in the timeline, it opens a clip in the background, not the text itself, so if I change the duration by right-clicking, it changes the duration of that clip, not the animated text. Please help!

Great video. I’m working with a dynamic list and the 5 list items animate way too fast so I’ll see if I can slow them down using your techniques.

My speed/duration .... Speed option is blurred out idk what to do

the only thing for what i watched the video but u didn't even mention that was . how to save template for permanent with same text. lets say when i bring template on timeline . always i have to change the text for intro of my video. but my intro is always same with same text. so how can i save 1 template with my required text so whenever i ll bring that template on time. all texts would be already that which i need

Thanks. Very helpful. And still, yet another reason why Premiere is the dinosaur of stuff. This should be a drag to length or at least be able to somewhere in edit type out to extend duration. Completely cutting edge-- from the year 2000. Lame. But thanks on your part!
