Here are two tips on speeding through the airport in Montego Bay, Jamaica and getting to your hotel quickly. #clubmobay #clubkingston #nexustours #jamaica #montegobay #travelingtojamaica #whattoexpectinjamaica #landinginjamaica
Used club Mobay for the first time leaving the island last week and it was a breeze . Group of 5 including a teen and preteen . Won’t be going to Jamaica without it ever again .
I think I will use the service at the airport when leaving. Even if you take the resort bus with the rest of people, you have to be out within a specific time. I got held up at customs and the bus left but they turned back to pick me up because they had just left. Thanks for the video. .
Thank you for watching and commenting. However, for us, we never used the resort bus. So, that wasn't a problem. We used private transfer. A vehicle will be ready no matter what time we exit the airport. I am sorry that happened to you. But I do agree with you that the service is actually better going out. Also, not sure if you ever tried it in Kingston. It is even better outgoing from Kingston with regards to bypassing people.
Same. I’ll be traveling to Jamaica next week. Trying to find transportation from the airport to Negril. I just learned about Club Mobay and tried to book it. 🤦🏾♂️
Thanks for review! I’ve been contemplating using this next month for my trip to MoBay. Was it cheaper through Viator or still $50 arrival and $33 departure?
How would you describe being in a resort type location such as the White Sands, versus staying in a regular city hotel? I've always resisted the fancy all-inclusive resorts. On the other hand, these resorts have their own private beaches. I always thought resorts were too noisy and crowded for w couple especially. What are your feelings about this? I also noticed that the White Sands isn't actually in Montego Bay itself. Thanks.
Personally, we prefer all inclusive hotels. They can be a little busy especially around the travel holiday periods. However, as you know, everything is just available for your comfort and convenience. Contrarily, you can get an all inclusive that slows it down a little. They are not all jumping with noise to be honest. I have been to a few that were relaxing. The budget you are willing to play with will have a big effect on that. Yes. White Sands is a little outside of Montego Bay. It's one of those where unless you want to take a tour outside the hotel and drive some distance, there is nothing whatsoever close by.
@@dinextadventure Your points are well taken. I guess it's a matter of maybe finding smaller resorts that cater more to older folks and therefore are quieter. Maybe organizing bus tours rather than big hikes, surfing, climbing etc. (!!)
Thank you for the kind words. I would recommend Nexus Tours. We used them a few times and everything was smooth and just as we expected. Good luck and have fun! By the way, did you check out our tour of Bahia Principe? It is the most popular tour of the hotel on RU-vid. You will love it.
@dinextadventure Thank you, yes, that is the video that made me a subscriber, and led me to all these great videos. We made sure to book a "premium newly rennovated room" so wish us luck. I will definitely check out Nexus Tours. Thanks!
I agree. We have used it many, many times before and after suggesting it to otherd, I was surprised about how many didn't know. So, I said let me just make a video the next time I use it.
Hi Dovy. Thank you for watching. We stayed at the Royalton White Sands. The best time I would say to go is September through November. December through April (spring break period) and in the summer can be pretty pricey. Anytime school is in and North America is not too cold is a good time. I did a tour of the property and room. See our other videos.
@@dinextadventure Thanks for your reply. The hotel and beach look so peaceful. At our age we certainly want to be far from noise and crowds even if we could have access to regular amenities like stores and restaurants. I didn't think too much about the US vacation time issue. I figured the younger crowd these days wouldn't be in a financial position for travel to Jamaica, especially since the media is always talking down Jamaica.....
@@dinextadventure The videos about all inclusives suggest that with their crowds, noise, music and excessive indulgence they don't seem directed to the over 60 crowd who just want some peace and quiet with calm socializing.
You get it the same way as everyone else. No way around that part, unfortunately. However, as soon as you get it, they just take you to a special line where you overtake everyone. That officer is designated just for those utilizing the service.
Well, technically this is supposed to be faster because even as a Jamaican citizen with a Jamaican passport, depending on the time, you MAY have a line, although a small one. But I get what you are saying. You will not join the lines that are flooded with tourist since that is the bulk of travelers in the Montego Bay airport. This service let's you bypass both lines, if there is even any at all. Thank you for watching.
The only reason I liked the video was to support black people plus he said to the little girl this is your real home which is facts plus it made me laugh 🤣
