Good method, I put one of the used pads between the caliper piston and the wrench to not damage the piston, worked great

I sat on my concrete driveway at 1 am for about 10 mins before i finally found a way to push it in a little bit so I could get it with the pliers 😂😂

That’s a new one on me. But mind you thar was done in a fully kitted out workshop. And the calliper was resting on a gearbox transmission jack. That’s not something your average home mechanic will have at his disposal. Not outside the house. Neither will they have a modern workshop. As within this video.

All you have to do is simply remove the emergency break bolt and caliper comes off then just put on the floor and proceed with video. Duh.

Dumb. Just get a c clamp or buy the 5 dollar tool! cheaper than replacing an entire caliper!

Remove outside pad, put caliper back on, Use a big screwdriver or similar to *gently* pry between the caliper and disc (rotor) This keeps the piston square

@@aldrinmartin3776 literally just did this on my moms car but used the old pads to keep it as flat as possible and so I didn’t score the piston with the wrench. Works pretty well as long as you’re careful.
