This was very helpful to me. I am just starting out with spinning and filled up all my bobbins and now I have no bobbin to ply with! lol. I know better now, but in the mean time, this is just what I needed to start to ply my yarn (which I'm going to call Art Yarn). Thank you. Your explanation was very clear and easy to follow.

Hi, thanks so much for making these videos. I just got two English angora bunnies about a month ago. They are approx (12weeks old). They are so super sweet. My initial intention was to get them for their fibre and learn how to spin etc. I find your videos very helpful. I'm going to start on a drop spindle but what do you recommend for a spinning wheel? Anything affordable that will take me from beginner and beyond?

I'm so glad you enjoy them! How exciting to have bunnies. Be careful, I started with just 2 :) I have had my double treadle Ashford Traveler for over 15 years now and love it. But, I just ordered a Spinolution Monarch. I know they have one called a "Polywog" which is often recommended for beginners. If I were purchasing as a brand new spinner I would look into the Spinolution wheels simply because they are made in the USA which is a big draw for me. If you aren't ready to commit into a new one yet look at a local yarn shop, Craigslist or FB marketplace to see if you can find a used one to start on. Thank you!
