Hello brother Ginno! I’m glad you and Joe got together. Actually, he was the one that informed me about your RU-vid video. I’ve known Joe since the 70s at Osan AB, Korea and Clark AB, Phil . Always good to meet fellow USAF brothers and talked about our experiences in our own lingo (DD 214 Alumni).
@@reyado-jh7kz Hello my brother! It was so nice to hangout with Joe and his grandson, Jesu, in Boracay. We talked about our days in Korea and Clark Air Base. I was stationed at Suwon Air Base Korea and then at Clark Air Base in the 80s. I love hanging out with my USAF brothers. Take care my brother.
Hi guys, I really miss seeing these travel VLOGS. I'm glad you are well enough to start again because this is a side of Boracay Island I've never seen. Take care my brother and we love you all.
We are ready to do travel vlogs again. Actually, planning a trip to Roxas City (seafood capital of the Philippines) next weekend. I will definitely try to show different sides of Panay Island. And start hunting for lighthouses again for my brother, Horace. Take care our friends. Love you both!
Hey Ginno! Great video! Appreciate how simple you made the transactions at the port. I get confused when I am at the bus and ship terminals. Also, it's the worst as a foreigner getting to your destination and then having to figure out if you need a bus, trike, cab, etc. It can be overwhelming when approached by "hawkers". How come you didn't drive Bumblebee to the port? Have a great weekend! Mark from D.C 🎉
Thank you my friend. I understand the feeling of getting overwhelmed when you get out a bus/boat/plane terminal and hawkers start approaching you. Dazel and I always watch a RU-vid video of arriving at an area; so we know what to expect and correct price. Like the time we went to Bohol. We knew exactly how much the charge was for travel from the airport to hotel. Caticlan is about an hour away from our house. We’ve taken Bumblebee before to Caticlan; but easier driving our car. 😁
you're doing a great service Ginno for expats, showing them around, etc. seems like you're super close to Boracay, like a hop skip away. i like the fact that you're showing a side of Boracay that we don't get to see as opposed to just the beaches. take care and Peace!
Thank you my friend. Our house is about an hour away from Caticlan; the place to catch the ferry to Boracay. The land Dazel bought is actually in Caticlan; we plan on building a tiny house on the land in 4 years when I start collecting my Social Security. Take care. ✌️
Great video! Thanks for taking us along with you to Boracay and making those great suggestions on hotels and cheap Pinoy foods. Hue Hotel and Hennan looks really from what I'm seeing online. Japser Tapsilog seems like a must place to try out too.
Thank you my friend! Both Hue Hotel and Hennan are nice accommodations in Boracay; I often see special offers on both hotels in Agoda.com. Jasper Tapsilog is a great place for the budget conscious and to try local food. Good Filipino budget meals around $3.
Good morning my Brother Ginno, I hope Dazle and Leana and a wonderful visit with momma and you have a good visit with your friend Too. May God Bless You All 🙏
Hello my brother. Dazel and Leana always have fun visiting their Mom. Joe and I had a great time! Always fun hanging out with my Air Force brothers. Take care and God bless.
I LOVE eggs Benidict too Ginno ...and made eggs Benedict for friends in Thailand often. I though your trip here was early morning ....then you said 8 AM ...yup, not as crowded and shops not open.... with exception of restaurants and 7-11s Enjoy yer breakfast and time with Joe. Blessings, Patrick
The best eggs Benedict I’ve eaten in the Philippines is at Lemon Cafe D’Mall; they make their own bread that goes underneath their eggs Benedict. Had a great time hanging out with Joe! Take care my friend. Stay blessed.
Ah man, first time i went to Boracay i paid for a fixer at the port (big mistake) and then was paying waay too much for trikes. We did not know that if they pick up multiple passangers its only like 20 pesos each. We kept paying for exclusive use and it was like 150 or something like that.
During the summer months (March to June), paying the fixer at the port is okay I think. It gets crazy at the port during summer months; lines are long and just chaos. I always thought the etrikes should post the fare; prevent tourists from thinking they got overcharged. Like post on the etrike; 150 pesos for private ride. At least you paid only 150 pesos; Koreans have accused etrike drivers charging them 3x or 4x that amount in the past.
Hi Gino. When you arrive in airport going to Boracay, is there a place to store the luggage? We will arrive from Mnl, so next flight going to Cebu. So we dont need to bring all of our luggege to Boracay
