You have a very unique voice, especially for this song. You developed a very nice style for this song since it's meant to be sung in falsetto. It's beautiful c: May I ask what kind of ukulele is that? I never seen an ukulele that looks as big as a guitar.
I love your take on this song! I rank it right up there next to Annette Henshaw's version. It's much more relaxing and less intense than Tiny Tim's, and definitely not as terrifying. :)
I thought about it, but I figured anything that wasn't as weird as his version would be cheesy, lol. I'm thinking about recording a better quality version of this to release on bandcamp. If I do that, I'll try to do something there. :)
Tiptoe doesn't refer to the walking. It refers to the clandestine rendezvous. The song is much older than Tiny Tim recording; back to the time when being a bastard was actually being a bastard and sneaking a kiss really meant sneaking a kiss. You're thinking like a modern person.
I was listening to this in the background of something else I was doing and I thought the rustling of trees sounded a lot like burning which was really cool because it kind of goes with the eerieness of the song and the sweetness of your voice - it was all great
I think tiny Tim would he crying If he saw his song being called “terrifying.” Its just a love song. Read the lyrics carefully. I find it beautiful. Tulips are known as “love flowers.” Beautiful cover btw!
