I have 400 hours on mine with running up the road on pavement. They are only half wore. Links do break so have some quick links for the fix. Also be careful when a link breaks the break free peace of chain reaches the fenders and back lights and can cause damage.
Been planning to buy those for the last year or so, specifically for winter logging traction but I can see myself running them for logging year round. Thanks for the review, like your channel.
I use mine for snow removal which means running on bare pavement between customer's driveway. Also they get used for winter and spring logging. I take them off as soon as the logging road dries up in spring. As a matter of fact I just took them off 3 days ago. They are expensive but the best set of chains I had and I'm not being paid to advertise. Thanks for watching. I will check out you channel.
The video quality is real good, Ray. That's pretty amazing your chains give you 500 hours and only worn 50%. That's a tough set of chains well worth the purchase. Are they expensive and do you have a link where folks can order them? BTW: is that the same tractor you were using back when you were connecting the implement? It sure is a nice tractor. I'm trading over to a cab version later this summer. Before I do, I need to raise my one garage door to allow a bigger and taller tractor in the bay. Enjoyed a full watch and have a fine weekend. 👍
Very impressed with the chains. The name of the company I got them from is Nova International in Nova Scotia Canada. You should be able to get them someplace near you. Nova international is a heavy equipment dealership and sells these chains.
