A question,I have a MH and flat tow car,can I take the car on trips away from the MH without reprograming. Will the moniter adjust automatically and just moniter the car?

Hello! You can absolutely monitor both the RV and towed car independently with the A1AS's Disconnect Mode. Outlined in the manual, you'll be able to "turn off" the Front or Rear section any time and monitor only those transmitters if you wish, so driving away from your RV is possible while still monitoring the towed car.

Hello! When using the system to monitor both a motorhome and towed vehicle, you'll need to use the built-in Disconnect Mode to separate the two when one section of the setup is not needed. When monitoring only your motorhome, you can "disconnect" the towed vehicle and then reconnect it, later, when you return to the vehicle and it will begin monitoring both again.

Do these work with rubber valve stems?

Hi Glen! Please see the answer below. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. Yes, TireMinder Transmitters may be used on high quality rubber valve stems. However, we highly recommend brass or stainless steel valve stems due to the fact that rubber valve stems deteriorate fairly quickly. They should be replaced when replacing your tires, and an external TPMS transmitter can exacerbate the deteriorating by adding weight to the valve stem. Additional rubber valve stems issues are based on age, length and physical location, such as exposure to road salt, high heat, sun, etc. If using rubber valve stems, it is recommended that you check the condition of you rubber valve stems on a regular basis. Failing to do so will result in a tire failure.
