I’ve clicked on the provided link on my iPad and my laptop but the the innovationtire website is inactive? Should called the phone number on their website to place my order for the Tireminder? Sorry for the bother!
The title is misleading. You need to include …..with installation. Because after viewing the first video we were sold on the Tireminder but upon seeing the title come up on my RU-vid feed I quickly thought oh no the Tireminder is NOT a quality product. The second video doesn’t quickly address the issue and inform us that it was an installation problem. I didn’t have time time to listen to all the details so fast forwarded to the end. Thanks for the detailed videos which are needed, but sometimes we make quick judgements on titles that hook us in. You’re doing great!
It’s click bait - and it worked, got you to watch the video. These videos aren’t about providing useful information, they are about driving clicks to their affiliate links where they make some money off people buying the product
We recently bought the i10 for my 44 foot Winnebago Grand Tour with a tag axle. My first trip with the i10 system I towed my 20-foot car trailer. Keep losing signal to both inside rear tires and sometimes to one or more trailer tire. Called Tire Minder and they are sending me a free signal booster to add to the one I installed on my coach. They said, because of my coach length, I would need a second booster. Their tech support was fast and friendly.
Bought this I 10 unit as a result of watching many videos including yours I have had some minor problems or challenges and have had exceptional service from the minder people. I now have over 1000 miles on the system and I’m very satisfied and comfortable knowing that I have air in my tires. On the coach and on the jeep. I also used your discount code which was worth 20 bucks to me!
I have the EEZ Tire monitor flow through system and it works great. No booster is needed. We have a 2018/19 Jayco Greyhawk and have the system on six tires. I have taken the six tire sensors out each winter and replace the batteries. I removed the sensors after the first winter noticing that I was not getting a signal from all of them .After checking the batteries, I found them to be drained. Lithium batteries don’t like the cold . By removing the sensors when the cover goes on the RV , it will remind you to bring the sensors (which should be labeled)in the house and change the batteries for the upcoming season.
I've been using a Presure Pro TPMS for several year's on our 5th wheel and enclosed trailer behind the 5th wheel. No major problems. If the sensors are removed when not in use they will last several. This has saved me 3 times when the tire started losing air. No tire damage. Wouldn't travel without a TPMS. Cheap insurance.
I bought this off your video and so far I really like it. For what we have used of it we have been happy. We thank goodness have not had any alerts, but it does what it is suppose to do. We did get an NS one time but it was on the tow car. It fixed itself and then we have not had that issue again. We put our booster in the middle of the RV away from the battery bank. So far so good. Good information.
Thank you for the discount code. Ordered the Tireminder TPMS App this evening. Can't wait to try it out. I didn't want another monitor on the dash. I already keep my phone available. Thank you!!
Thank you for this video. I didn’t know my booster unit was upside down!! My mistake was not marking the tire units when I took them off for the winter, so mixed them all up this Spring! My project, today, is figuring out which goes where. 🤔
Just ordered the i10 with 10 sensors. Just to clarify what you stated in your video... that is a signal booster, not a battery booster. TireMinder also has many excellent troubleshooting and installation guides. We have a motorhome and flat tow a Jeep Wrangler. Instructions are to mount the signal booster under the motorhome towards the rear. For just the motorhome without a tow vehicle, more toward the center would work.
Hello! My wife and I have a 37' Diesel Pusher, and we are looking to get a tire pressure monitor system. I immediately remembered hearing you guys talk about some, and hunted your videos down because of valuing your options greatly. Thank you for all you do. We live in the southeastern region of lower MI, and just drove to the Mackinaw area to camp at Wilderness State Park, on Lake MI. We will be getting monitor when we return home Friday. Also, we're looking to get the BLOW OUT device that goes inside of tires. We need to find that video.
We have the TST 507 and love that unit...got a great deal from Techno RV but you're correct, the 507 is a little pricey but peace of mind and safety is what I look for in a TPMS! Good video!!
Great video!!! If I were you I would recommend using metal zip ties (harbor freight) has them because the last thing you want is your receiver falling off die to zip ties breaking. Again, awesome video.
TST allows you to adjust high and low pressure baseline. I adjusted the high PSI to 120 as the tire pressures here in the west have the tires running at 115 during the day when the temperature is 100+.
After I watched your video and several others I purchased the tire minder i10 to replace the TPMS I had that was always giving false alarms on the inside Dully tires (innotechRV) and was pleased that the 12 wheel sensors from my old set worked on the new Tire Minder i10 . I ordered the kit from the manufacture on 7/30/2020 and received it on 8/8/2020. We have been using them for about 1000 miles now and have yet to have problem. Although I did use another promo to get more discount from Full Time Freedom Tour. We are pleased with the set. Oh and had the booster set right the first time. I want to say I could of ordered this on Amazon Prime and received it in 3 days. Enjoyed the video.
Hey folks. Not sure if you go back to older videos to read comments, however I used your code and purchased the TMi10 for my coach. This newbie thanks you for such informative videos!!
A TPMS is a must. Our EEZ TPMS came with a booster but so far we have not needed it even for the sensors on our toad. I'm sure once the batteries start to go low the booster may be required. Great job as always guys!
I love mine, I ran into the NS because I forgot to turn on the signal booster. Other than that , I have 1000k miles on mine and it works great. It was a solid purchase.
Nice video. I watched the first one and ordered the Tireminder. Then I came across this one and said to myself "oops". Now I'm just waiting for delivery. I also subscribed to see if there would be any more surprises. LOL. Thanks for the info. Like your style too.
Hey Izzy and MJ, thanks for the $20. discount code for the Tireminder i10. We just ordered ours and appreciate the discount code. Getting ready to start a journey and didn't want to start with out a good one. Got the 8 transmitters so the fifth wheel and truck are covered. Couldn't see spending the extra $'s for the 2 spare tires. We will be fine. Maybe see you guys sometime. ENJOY!
I just picked up the TireMinder i10 and I'm getting ready to install it soon. Thanks again for another great informative video. I'm looking through the instructions about placement of the monitor. They recommend placing it in the rear window of a Crew Cab Pickup pulling a 5th Wheel like I have due to the electronic "noise" generated by a Nav System. I'm not a huge fan of their recommendation because I'd have to look in the rear view mirror to see it even though I understand there is an audible alarm when a problem occurs. I normally run Google Maps for direction via Apple CarPlay. So I shouldn't have a interference problem with a Nav System. Plus I have a wireless Camera System on the 5th Wheel with a monitor on the truck dash. The cameras operate on 2.4Ghz whereas the TireMinder i10 operated on 433.92 Ghz. So there should be no problem there. So I'm wondering where you have your monitor mounted and if you have a problem with any other electronics near by that interfere with the TireMinder i10 Monitor. BTW, I'm fabricating a bracket which I'll mount to the 5th Wheel Frame up front below my battery box to ensure the booster antennas are pointing towards the ground Thanks!
If you have no tow vehicle or trailer TireMinder makes a six sensor unit as well. Not sure how much it costs direct from the factory. But they are $291 on Amazon. Just some info for those of us that don't need ten sensors. Great unit. I have one on order. Thanks for a great channel. And safe travels.
Yea with the weather being so hot this year I had to drop 5 psi out of the tires so they wouldn't go about 110 psi. I hate the alarm going off on tst. But on the other hand at least I know i don't have any other issues with the tires.
@@EndlessRVing Good point...people need to understand that they DO NOT have to inflate their tires to the max. inflation value. Need to calculate how much weight the tires are actually carrying and adjust accordingly. Also, the TST parameters can be adjusted to NOT alarm at 110 psi.
Very useful thank you. I ordered an i10 after viewing your comparison and installation video two days ago. Your clarification should help me to do a flawless installation before we leave on our 2000 mile trip in 10 days. Thanks again.
I bought this unit based upon your recommendation and still have the 175 psi alarm sound on random tires. I’ll try to move it once more before I toss it. I currently merely turn the unit off when the alarm sounds and have no confidence in the unit. I hope this is my final relocation.
a tpms is on our must buy list this year. we tow a 26 ft trailer 5000 miles a year and in ten years we have had two catastropic tire losses. i'm pretty sure that a tpms would have alerted us well before the undetected flat tire came apart
We are very happy with our Tireminder and have been using it for quite awhile. If you get it, be sure to use our discount code to save some $. Good luck! - MJ
I was able to find the TM i10 with 6 flow through transmitters for $388.01 on Amazon versus $399 after discount on Tire Innovations website. Thank you for the two gr8 videos on the TPMSs.
Wow, haha you scared me! I just ordered my i10 yesterday, using the discount code. Yes, by the way, Michael is a great help (answering a few questions over the phone) and amazing customer service.
Thank you for this very informative video. We need to buy one and this takes a lot of guess work out of our purchase and installation. Keep those videos coming!
TST offers a 3 year warranty and LIFETIME CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Seems sometimes you get what you pay for. Also, being able to program high and low pressure alert settings to your own customizable levels is a feature I appreciate about the TST system. TST is a true commercial system able to pass strict safety and legal departments of trucking companies as well as both Forest River and Thor. As a result The TST 507 is standard equipment on a growing list of distinguished RV lines. TireMinder has a great system but how many trucking fleets use it where saving tires is a multi-million dollar undertaking? TST is owned by Pressure System International. They are the inventor and the worldwide leader in Auto Tire Inflation Systems. Tire Pressure and Tire Pressure Monitoring is their only focus. I’ll stick with the robust TST 507 but hats off to TireMinder for the i10.
Well... I had a TST 507 and lost it. That being said, I really wasn't that impressed with it, difficult to see and cumbersome to configure. That being said... I just replaced my lost TST 507 with a TST 770 earlier today. I purchased the TST 770 via TechnoRV and... OMG - what a HUGE improvement over the TST 507. From the start to finish, Taking the TST 770 out of the box, replacing all of the tire sensor batteries and configuring the the new TST 770 took me less than 30-min total. ABSOLUTELY LOVE TechnoRV and the new TST 770!!!!
Great job on the videos... You're right, both are nice units but I don't especially care for the TM display in the way the tire locations are displayed. Also, I would note that you actually can't see all 10 tires at once, because you have two pages to look at one at a time. The price difference is substantial though...I went with the 4 sensor TST (truck has OEM sensors) for my 5th wheel and the monochrome screen (the colors don't seem worth $50 more). Got it on etrailer for $315...of course the 10 sensor price would be much more I realize.
Hello, I see this video is 3 yrs old, is that the reason the Innovation website doesn’t work? It’s not functional. All it shows is the TST with no option to see or purchase the Tire Minder or the TST? Any advise would help.
I have a 24' Winnebago and TOAD. I would like to use the the coach batteries to power the booster. They are 12 volt deep cell batteries. Can I do that or does it have to be the engine battery?
Thinking about the 2 sensor unit for my 20' Lance travel trailer. Two questions. 1) The high pressure limit is hardwired at 20%. My tires should be inflated to 65 PSI and my GVWR is 3700. 20% over 65 is a 13 PSI rise. I live in Texas where it gets into the low 100s but sometimes can get to 115F. Is it possible to get more than a 13 PSI rise on very hot days? In my prior RV that I downsized from I had an EEZ unit and if I recall correctly I could adjust the threshold. 2) I realize the i10 is a different display than the one for the trailer but wondering if you have had any problems seeing the display on a bright day, especially when wearing sunglasses. Thanks for a helpful video.
@@EndlessRVing That's a dang shame on their part. As for you two, well done.. oh one more thing, those sunglasses look great, i hope to see more of them in the future 🤘😁👍
Great video - helpful and concise - thanks! Our diesel pusher has tire monitoring, but I'm looking to use this unit to monitor just the toad. Any insight whether the engine and distance would cause interference?
Wait first things first. Someone is still complaining about your sunglasses!😂 I didn't know there where sunglass police!👮♂️🚔. I need one of these for our car!
I just ordered mine based on your recommendation. What do you use to mount it on that dash? Is there a wind shield mount? please leave a link where we can find it. looking for a dash mount but a wind shield will do. I don't understand why it would not come with this. Also in your video it looks like you mounted your booster in the rear of your coach near the batteries, I have a 42 ft coach would this work for me also. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks love your videos new to the RV world and your videos gives me the in site that I need. Thanks AGAIN.
We bought one thanks for suggesting. We are leaving before Michael gets to work. Do you happen to know how to unprogram One of the minders. The inside dally has a stem problem after we installed.
I have a Tireminder, and take my RV to Arizona from Canada every winter. Tireminder has just effectively eliminated the free battery replacement program for Canadians. They now charge $20 for shipping, and the delivery time is now a ridiculous two to four weeks. They have always been very slow to deliver the batteries, but now they charge you $20 for even slower service. I assume too many Canadians like me were actually using the free replacement battery system every year, so rather than just kill it, they have instead decided to make using it so unattractive that nobody from Canada will bother anymore. It is now faster, and likely cheaper to just buy them at Walmart. I tired to leave a review about this issue beside a positive review at the Tireminder website, but there appears to be no way to actually do that, even though I was logged in and had used the replacement program 4 times before. I don't know how the positive review was posted, as I see no way to post any review at all now.
I have a question regarding adding air to a tire. Obviously I will have to remove the sensor but will I have to do something special like re-syncing it to the tire after re-installation? If it was in your videos, I'm sorry I missed it.
2 questions: I have a 25’ motorhome, do I still need a relay? I’m trying to decide between the smart one or dash-mounted. Pros and cons? Thanks, nice vid.
Saw a Newmar Dutch Star at our campground this weekend and thought of you guys. Have you heard any reports of how the new Ford 7.3 liter Godzilla engine is performing in motorhomes? I have been looking for reviews and so far no luck.
There are some videos out there. We have not had the opportunity to see one. It’s an improvement over the v10 but still a gasser. Thanks for watching and the comment Izzy
Do you know if this product can be used with rubber valve stems? I think in one if your videos I recall you saying that it could be used with either metal or rubber valve stems.
We have a 37 foot motorhome and a 24 foot trailer. All our tires including the trailer tires are monitored without a problem. Thanks for watching and the comment
@@EndlessRVing Thank you for the reply..... This appears to be a good option for us.... We have a BayStar 3401 on order should arrive May / June. Starting to buy stuff as we get ready for the arrival of the new coach... Thank You for all the great videos
@@EndlessRVing Thanks for the coupon reminder.... Hey can you see the screen with polarized sunglasses. I have a polarized subscription sunglass I where just want to make sure it is visible
Hi, I plan on purchasing a tire minder based on your recommendation but on the booster, I don’t like how it has alligator clips for the 12 volts that I think would vibrate off down the road. What are your thoughts or mods?
Don't get the tireminder, my sensors read all over the place when all the tires are at near exact same PSI as measured by my calibrated and even my cheap gauges. TM ran me around and just kept blaming anything they could - my valve stems is the last thing they blamed. IDK what to suggest, but stay clear of Tire Minder products.
We’re having similar probs with a TM system I bought last week. Very frustrating. We bought it at the FMCA rally in Redmond OR and the rep kept blaming everything except the system.
