I have one of these as well, with only the metal bracelet it came with. I just like metal bracelets better. The rotor wanting to spin is often a sign that it needs a little lubrication, as when they are a bit sticky, winding it seems to want to tug at all the gears. I don't have that problem, but have with other automatic winding watches. Usually with regular use, it will move more freely. One of the worst things for a watch is for it to just sit unused. If they sit long enough, they often don't want to start back up.

How is the accuracy? In 2003 I bought a Tissot SeaStar automatic With white face and two-tone gold and silver metal band, the accuracy was 12 minutes fast a month and it was consistent at that for the three years that I had it and then I sold it to my cousin and he still enjoys it it’s never been serviced and he says it’s settled and the accuracy is pretty much bang on now. So what I would do at the beginning of every new month I would set it six minutes slow so that by the 15th it was bang on for time and by the end of that month it would be six minutes fast. And that causes less wear and tear on the crown instead of adjusting it like every week

RJtoon1 the accuracy of this piece is very accurate. Well within expectations. What you do with re: setting it fast is exactly what I do with my older Breitling.

@@AvgJoeWatchReviews Can't top "Avg Joe's" answer, but it gains about 2-4 seconds a day when you wear it. It also depends on how you lay it down at night. Face down, its about +2 sec/day. Face up, its about +3 seconds/day. Sideways, crown up, it's about +1 second/day. Crown down, it's about +1 second/day. Probably slightly less accurate than a Rolex....but then, my Hamilton is more accurate than my 20 year old Submariner.

It's odd they chose to use "IIII" instead of "IV" at 4. But then they do "IX" at 9. It kinda bothers me. Lol

Most brands do this. It’s more of a balanced aesthetic reason but I agree. It’s just not correct and had always bothered me as well.

Prior to the IV for the number four, the romans actually used IIII. And for 9 they used to use VIIII. After the fall of the Roman empire the numbers were changed to what we know today as the Roman Numeral System. Hope this helps.

The notations IV and IX can be read as "one less than five" (4) and "one less than ten" (9), although there is a tradition favouring representation of "4" as " IIII" on Roman numeral clocks. (Wikipedia)

Nice watch could be one of the reverser wheels are sticking on the automatic winding mechanism. Does the rotor spin nicely after you shake the watch from side to side?

It is not. Dress watches, typically have very little to no lume. If they are lumed, it’s typically the hand set. Ironically I like the fact the hands are clean from lume and keep that simple, classic, eloquent look.

Yellow gold and rose gold are different. Rose gold simply has a bit of copper added to change the hue from yellow to rose tone.

Thinking of getting the one in white dial soon but I can't decide between the leather strap and steel bracelet. I prefer the leather more as it looks better. But the problem is bracelet makes more sense as I can get a third party leather any time but can't get a bracelet. But then again I don't think I'll ever wear this in bracelet. Any suggestions on what I should do?

@@Neehalmahfuz haven’t serviced it despite the fact I get “helicopter rotor” at times. Don’t wear it enough to justify it. I would always recommend buying a watch with the bracelet since you can always buy a strap later and they are more affordable.

@@Neehalmahfuz Getting an original Tissot metal bracelet is possible but difficult. I think they go for around 130GBP but cheaper non-originals are available on eBay. Far easier to get a 19mm leather band with butterfly clasp after-market. If you want to be able to mix & match. get one with the metal bracelet to begin with. And buy it in person to make sure it fits, especially if 2nd-hand. Tissot _will_ sell you additional links if you need to expand, but in my experience only via ordering from a dealer who were the local service centre. Mine cost 12GBP each a couple of days ago but that did cover the dealer fitting the extra links.
