I have a similar lift. All these videos take the screw out of the end of the lift arms, but my pieces slide out the back of the arm. No need to take out the screw. I think most of them work the same as mine. These are terrific lifts by the way.
@@carlrizzo6471 I agree. Can you imagine if we had to rely on catalogs in order to buy equipment worth thousands of dollars, like in the old days? We are really spoiled!
Dear Redline, How about revealing where the particular lifts are manufactured. Some of Us customers PREFER to purchase American made. Thank You. Sincerely, Kathleen.
Dear Kathleen, we show all of that pertinent info on our website. Where most people prefer to shop. We happily offer American Made lifts, you just stumbled on one that isn't. Here's a link to make it easier. Thanks! www.redlinestands.com/catalog/ Granted, even companies like Challenger who produce American Made lifts still out source parts to China. Not much we can do about that.
I can all but Guarantee that Kathleen's comment wasn't written on an American manufactured cell phone or laptop. People have real selective preferences.
I don't know I kind of don't get it and I don't mean this to sound negative I just don't understand how useful it is when the unit takes up the entire undercarriage of the car how are you supposed to work on anything what's the advantage unless you just going to remove the wheels?
Seems like most folks buying these are detailing cars, or doing stuff like tires and/or brake jobs. I personally would get a 2 post lift, but certain customers really like them at places like brake shops.
@@RedlineStands 2 post lift is the best for ability to work under car without obstruction. BUT, you will need to bolt permanently to the floor. Now ask yourself what is obstructed. Not the engine, not the wheels, not the suspension, not the gas tank. Only the drive train, exhaust and maybe transmission. I would say the scissor lift will allow you to do 95% of most repairs.
Chris, great video...You were grunting like an old man when you bent down and I started laughing so hard...Here I am at 63 and I don't grunt that loud when bending over...lol...I am going to purchase this unit for my Christmas present to myself...Merry Christmas everybody...and especially to our Commander in Chief 'Mr President Trump" and Family...
Lol another racist nawalt ,you must be one of those who when a man abuses you ,you love it, maybe you should meet up with Moore ,oh wait your too fcuking old lol
Mo Jo--Are you living on the same planet as the rest of us or are you a professional snowflake that trolls peoples comments and gets butthurt every time you see some one praise Trump? This is about shop equipment. Go cry to someone who actually cares please.
Commercial fishing net yes you can put a light truck like dodge 1500 4 doors f150 navigator Expedition silverado I used one of those is good for brakes tire rotation radiator oil change just not transmission jobs or fuel pumps
Why didn’t your put a damn vehicle on it during this video then? I don’t understand there’s all these fucking reviews on shit but never a 1/2 ton truck on it to show how much underneath clearance you have. Complete waste of everyone’s damn time. This lift would be more than strong enough to lift a 1/2 1500 Chevy and other 1/2 tons.
Sort-of. I'm a BendPak dealer and I can sell you a BendPak, but if we're being honest here, get the Titan. Any time I have issues with a BendPak customer, getting the issue solved is like pulled teeth. Those guys have some major bounds to cover regarding their customer service before I can return to recommending them.
Does the damn thing lift a rig up high enough to sit in a mechanic roller chair and do a damn oil change etc? It’s like no one has ever thought to shoot a damn video of it actually being used for something useful, other than showing the lift going up and down.
Compra el 7000xl ese levanta una troca. El que esta aqui es el 5000 solo para carros chicos y medianos. Que no pesen mas de 5000. Libras. Aqui en usa se vende. Donde estas tu

The majority of folks that buy these lifts are doing brake jobs, selling wheels/tires, and also detail shops. Those buyers aren't really concerned with working underneath the car and they like that this lift is portable and doesn't anchor to the concrete, sir.
