You got the advocate gifts because there was a bug where people werent getting advocate gifts when your faction ranked up so they retroactively gave out the missed gifts
I think they went a bit too far on cloak, but I definitely feel it needed to be toned down a little, I don't use it super often so it doesn't hurt me so much but I hope that respawn doesn't turn into bungie.

They don't balance things based on what somebody 'asks' for it's based on statistics and meta game observations. They compare performance related to the cloak. You don't know more about balance than a team of developers who made some of the most well regarded FPS games ever. Stop pretending you know better than them. You are just salty they changed something you used a lot. Stop doing balance with your feelings and emotions and start doing balance with objectivity. Cloak was a tool that had no downsides, it didnt slow you down, it didnt disable after firing, it lasted long it made you practically impossible to see for Titans and very hard for pilots. So now they made it so it has a downside, it's a positional tool, used to position yourself for a ambush, it's not a "Run around the map invisible and kill everybody" tool.

So yes they changed it, and decided it didnt work so changed it back to the TF1 model. If you think they do balancing based on the 'bitching' of players you aren't one of the Great minds that can pitch in. If you want to be one of those keep your stuff factual. Leave your personal preference out of it. Cloak is designed as a positional tool, at the moment it does exactly that, get you somewhere unnoticed. Its not tool to run around like it's Alien vs Predator cloaking and re-cloaking. The ability does exactly what it's suppose to do now. As for your opinion of me, I'm not going to respond to that, think of me what you want, don't really care. It's just tiring to see all these people claiming they know better than respawn, and thinking stuff is balanced because people complain and that equal complaining will get it changed back.

Nick Santizzi As a small business the opinion of a few weighs far heavier than when you sell tens of thousands of copies. Sure they take feedback, they would be insane not too, but they dont base their balancing on 'crying'. If people say Cloak is too OP, they will go and investigate if there are numbers, gameplay videos and general meta trends that confirm this change. If there are, they might change it. But if nothing indicates that there is a problem with something aside from some complaining,, they won't change said item. So yes, essentially it's based on soley that. I've worked on some Android Play Store games in teams (RTS game) and our balancing was done if supported by statistics. If it was not, we wouldnt balance anything. Respawn is highly likely to do the same. While complaining might trigger a investigation into it. Complaining is never the deciding factor in a balance change. My point has nothing to do with if I liked cloak or didnt like cloak. I didn't use it before, and I don't use it. Didn't see it as a problem and don't see it as a problem now. However given the way cloak is supposed to be utilized, this change makes sense. We can argue all day. I'm fine with that. At some level we agree with each other, these type of discussions are usually just a way to 'find' eachother so to speak haha.

No idea why everyone is mad about the cloak nerf. I use cloak 90% of the time and imo it's very powerful. Why? because unlike other abilities cloak is a passive ability where it works over a duration of time and isn't a one time thing like grapple, stim etc. Not only that but you can literally be cloaked for the entire match with the right set up. I hope this new cloak doesn't encourage camping tho
not only did they take away cloak basically but they only added 1 map. in t1 they added 3 in first Dlc. I need new maps. and let's be honest angel city is an old map I like it but I need more maps.

No, that's fine. I just thought that they would change that from its previous one. Besides, I enjoy the variety of its follow up compared to the original one. Overall, I'm totally satisfied with this year's, period.

basura yeah, but it feels like they were forced by EA, because respawn is actually one of the best studios out there but EA fucked them over with the launch date, I really love TF2, and hope EA doesnt fuck the game over
They didn't lie. You didn't take what they said in context. No pilots, titans, maps or weapons will cost. That's what they said. Those equate to free DLC. Everything else is optional and available IF you want it. The micro-transactions you speak of are those that would prohibit playing the game, and that's not the case here.

Devin Avery maybe to u not to me I never got killed by it at all really but even so don't make it so it becomes disabled when u fire the gun. It already did when u shot it before then u cloaked again. Now it's useless to me so atleast ur happy then bro. Don't know what else to say
