It's like playing a brand new game, JUST like it was in 2016... Like It's awesome hearing people get excited over each of the new things Northstar brings to the table. I'm SO excited for what is to come!
a lot of games are going down this route sadly. the NFS franchise as a whole is basically community run, Overwatch is almost been completely abandoned by the devs (admittedly thats not completely their fault) and now Titanfall is community run. its sad to see what games could have been with all these amazing player and community mods and versions, but at the same time its cool to see what the brainiacs can do when given the right tools
@@CheesyNoodle134 its not just that, a lot of people from the old respawn (namely all the TF devs) have since been moved out of respawn and into other projects by EA so even if they wanted to fix vanilla TF, they can't. plus its clear that EA doesn't give two shits about the game because it isn't earning them any money
This feels like a romantic era of a movie, Titanfall truly does nothing less than fill me up with joy, feels like i cant do anything except fall in love with the best movement system in gaming history all over again
I don't want to see the communities of Apex and tf drifting away even more but the only viable solution is to make an even larger attack on Apex legends so respawn actually does something, but this time not only Apex will be affected, if we want to be heard we should touch the game that gives ea money too, so they pressure respawn to do something, so fifa will be going down
As a console tf2 player im happy that there is a way to play the game for most of the player base but a little sad that respawn hasnt really been vocal about fixing the game for everyone and its only getting worse i hope they manage to do something even if it just reducing que time
Sorry to say but they aren't fixing it. They have been leading us with a carrot on a stick for too long and at this point they aren't even offering the stick.
Yeah I love Titanfall and I love that there's a way for people to play it uninterrupted, I just wish I as an Xbox player could play too. I miss this game and I can't wait for a possibility of a third. Hopefully some day we'll get one 😔
Remember when games were fun? This is why Titanfall's community is stubbornly holding on despite what feels like abandonment. Apex is ok, but Titanfall... goddamn.
@@Helena-me6mp Popular opinion would disagree with you, but that doesn't mean Titanfall isn't good. Apex is just 'also' good, and clearly it picked up a lot more attention, unfortunately for TF1/2.
@@zera2314 well no apex player knows titanfall exists, its not about which game is better because its obvious, its about which game had better marketing and EA destroyed that with their release. I still hate EA for that.
I just bought it on PC like 2 days ago and I just need like 2 multiplayer achievements till I get 50/50.... hopefully these new modded servers work well!!!
They do but all your stats and achievements will be gone on the Northstar client unfortunately. On the bright side though you also have all paid skins and prime titans unlocked for free.
Boy if that happens you can insert the “Just take my money” meme instantly for me! Idk if it’s a $60 game lol! Never got to play tf and Apex has got me hooked on this universe.
@The First Trillionaire I know! I play Apex quite a lot now and it's good, don't get me wrong, but Titanfall 2 just feels like an old friend. One of my friends recently bought tf2 for £3 on Steam but hopefully you get to play at some point!
This is great and really amazing, unfortunately its really really bad on respawn for not being able to handle their game. I love this, this guy is a gamer hero and respawn need to get a grip of their games
I didn't play TF2 until early 2021 and boy did the Story blow me away. Heavy TF fan since 2013 but, life happened and I didn't get TF2 when it released. Played TF2 MP during the free weekend last year and it was the most fun I've had in a long time, so much more fun than Apex Legends. This has got me excited.

Im new to apex and the world build by titanfall, it always seemed interesting to me but as a previously battlefield franchise main it was tough to switch, until i finally got my pc and i wanted to try out titanfall 2 but only heard things like that it was unplayable etc. soo soo happy this is a shot to not only play titanfall but also modded titanfall! Me and my brother (technically just my brother, but I like playing on the server a lot) run that randomizer server. It was very fun playing with you! Even if I did get domed by the scorchshot for a hot minute.
I've always wanted to get into Titanfall 2, because it seems like it has lots of parallels community-wise with Team Fortress 2, and I like how both games are abbreviated the same. Unfortunately it seems both games have been affected by the same issues, so I never bought the game. If this project gets full traction, I'll be gearing up to join the rest of you Pilots. For now, I'll leave a sub, and hope that I get a notification for updates sooner rather than later. Keep on gaming, everyone
This is really exciting, I really hope that in time they bring the TF1 maps into TF2 - perhaps even the Titans. That would be really awesome. I guess my only concern is that as these are now public servers (unless password protected) then it might leave the door open for cheating etc but time will tell. I`m excited for the future of this game.

I find it nice that this community is still thriving despite all that happened, but I find it stupid that respawn went ahead and said something vocal about the whole situation only when northstar was fully announced, despite all that good video
I think I'll get Titanfall 2 on steam with some friends so we can play some custom matches. I honestly see Titanfall 2 becoming a modern Garry's mod in the future. I mean it runs on the source engine so maybe we'll once be able to create our own maps and guns

My biggest problem with titanfall 2 even when it worked was that every game was the same team death match mode. So boring. With these new custom modes and people dedicated to playing them, I might start playing this game a lot more. Now I just hope they add custom map support.
I just got titanfall2 for like 7$ on steam and I'm taken aback by how much fun this game is. When i couldn't access the multiplayer i though it was just a bug till i heard about all the crap that is going on about it. So when i downloaded northstar, it felt like i wasn't missing out at all. I though it was gonna be a weird crappy experience but (while i did get killed a lot) it wasn't a terrible experience and im so glad i got the game
This is amazing. I'm glad I found people that still truly care about TitanFall 2 and its potential. Thanks to all the peolpe that contributed to these modded modes I wish I could join in all the fun but I don't have a PC. Stuck on console for now, it would be EPIC if it were some how available for console but hey it is what it is. Anyways thanks again and good luck!!!
For the air strafe speed mode I wish they would have a modifier for lower health the faster you move but you have minimum and maximum health , also way slower health regeneration while in the air (to be able to regenerate hp in a timely manner you need to touch the ground or slide , not wall slide).
Fastball is honestly my new favorite gamemode now. It's both very chill and not super competitive while also being very strategic, rewarding those who plan well rather than just aim well
I’ve been wanting to get back into Titanfall 2 for sooo long. It’s easily one of my all-time favourite games and I have sunk countless hours into it on PS4. When I got myself a PC it was one of the first games I got. I had bought the game for all my friends and was so excited to get them into it just before the DDOSing began…. I was so sad that I couldn’t play and always had an itch to get back into it. After playing a few rounds of Frontier defense the other day and thinking everything was fine the game would suddenly crash and kick me out to the menu. That’s what pushed me to finally download Northstar. I still miss the AI enabled modes like Bounty Hunt and Atteition which cannot be imported to Northstar because they would be a copyright violation. Frontier Defense has recently become one of my favourite modes to play and I sincerely hope that we see some kind of revival for those modes or for TF|2 servers soon. In the meantime I am really looking forward to trying some of these ludicrous looking game modes on Northstar!! This is going to be so much fun!
hacking cheating ddosing a mainstream title like csgo apex is understandable, why do it to such a good innocent title. sigh, even hackers nowadays has no standards.
I've never played Titanfall 2, but I've played a lot of Apex, so I always watch these videos to see the cool animations / guns / audio, etc that were carried over to Apex. Feels like being an archaeologist. Lol.
The "Titanfall is core to our dna" comment they made is bullshit. If it was core to you dna you would've had more than 2 people working best game you ever developed.
Northstar still has a long ways to go. Unfortunately most of the NA servers are pilots vs pilots and have meme mods. I don't wanna play kraber only or 300% hp servers. I want Attrition and more vanilla gamemodes :/
I think if Respawn had actually added extra weapons to buy or whatever to make money in the game for themselves. Or even if we had to pay to play we would! Just so we could play!
Titanfall 2 is a game that just won't die no matter what because of the passion put into the game by the developers and community. It's awesome to see and it's finally time to "standby for Titanfall" again!
Is it at all possible that we may begin to see the production of the northstar client for console? And if you have any information, do you have an estimate on when it'll come out?
From my limited knowledge, consoles were never modded except the allowed mods in-game like fallout 4 has. So unfortunately think that it will be impossible.
Modding for PS4's Titanfall is impossible **but** 7/10 Times Private multiplayer games function, meaning that you can gather a group of friends and still play
As a console player this is kinda bittersweet for me. I love that the game is finally playable and better then ever but once again console players have been left in the dust…
this is very exicting! as someone who has never gotten the chance to play titanfall, this might be our hope. i will follow the evolution of northstar closely!
the titanfall community is insane and frankly i'm disappointed that this even had to happen in the first place big well done to BobtheBob on this and hopefully we can see some improvement from Respawn over the next year
It’s amazing how many of these weapons work so well in Apex, you would think that you have to nerf the guns a lot when you remove the hyper mobility of Titan fall. Looking forward to the day when we see the nade launcher in Apex tho, will be fun to see the kill feed when people try to use it in close quarters :p
Rip console boys :c but it's beautiful to see that the community did more than the devs this family is truly amazing! Thank you all for making this happen can't wait to buy a PC to re join the frontier and play my favorite game again.
Oh thank God, ttf2 is genuinely the best shooter game ever made in my opinion, and to see it playable again would be a dream come true for so many players looking to enjoy it once more
I'm planning on downloading Titanfall 2 but seeing the amount of cheaters and that the game is dying is really not attractive, but I remember playing Titanfall 1 on xbox 360 and it truly was a masterpiece, titanfall was so much fun but I'm afraid of the skill ceiling being already too high and servers not actually working or something like that
It’s absolutely worth getting it, with north star client, servers shouldn’t be an issue, the game is nowhere near dying and has a very strong and active playerbase Also what, cheaters isn’t a big issue at all
I just hate one fact from this company, example apex legends, you have these new weapons, and they call it a big deal etc while they literally steal the weapons from titanfall 2, everything, the sound the models animations, it just feels like the whole company is on vacation the whole fucking development and they just steal something from titanfall 2 and call it a huge update.
