I Mean sledner man, Titanfall one IMO killed cod. All modern cods are based off of it. Titanfall 1 was underrated, they have the money for marketing this time round, and a full game. So it may just be a cod killer

I loved the 1st ones gameplay, but there wasn't much to do in it, unlocked everything in 2 days after release, so no goal to work towards anymore. Hope this one has improved on that.

The campaign of COD6 should have been great, but Activision wanted to make money so they pop the final chapter of MW2 and make it MW3. That explained why Shepherd became the final boss of MW2. That's why the campaign of MW2 is a bit weird and not so good as COD4. It's not complete.

***** don't worry! For me titanfall2 isn't a game, that needs much criticism because it seems to work very well and I like the mechanics (even the knew ones). Seeing a story mode in that game compared to tf1 is something odd in the first few moment but this storymode looks very much different to those I've played over the 6-7 years. (Except deus ex. That's always unique for me. I like that game)

The first drop pods I know of were described in Heinlein's 1959 novel Starship Troopers. Most of the book is preachy political drivel, but if you ever get a chance, read just the first chapter (takes all of ten minutes). It's intense, visceral, and brilliantly realistic and futuristic combat, and you can really see how Titanfall is pretty much Starship Troopers The Game.

I don't understand how people hate on Titanfall. If you want a game that changed a genre forever look no further than it, I mean, with companies like Treyarch trying to copy it (and failing, by the way) it's impossible not to call what Titanfall stood for game changing.

Funny thing, Force Awakens is pretty much a rehash of Episode 4. Even so, planet destroying weapon, it's not exactly a fresh concept. Star Wars just has its name all over it with the Death Star and Starkiller Base.
