Titanic Honor & Glory | Demo 3 | TITANIC IN BELFAST 

As an amateur Titanic history freak, I eat up everything Titanic related I come across, I found this demo stunning. The narrator used the terms "amazing" and "fucking amazing" about a thousand times and I have to whole heartedly agree with him. Absolutely amazing!! Well done!!

The Purser scared the crap outta me! xD Dan your videos on the demos are the best because you actually know what you're talking about, every one else always puts a ton of Jack and Rose references into their video. It gets really annoying when all they know about Titanic comes from the 97 movie.

To this day I adore the music in this demo. It really lends a dream-like quality to it all. Just you and the ship, meeting it on its own terms. These walks into history are the real gift of personal computing.

I really hope they end up completing this game. It would be terrible to leave this beautiful thing hanging like this.

To think, less than two weeks later, the Titanic would sink in the Atlantic Ocean, 1500 passengers onboard would perish. The ship's glory and luxury would be undiscovered by humanity for 7 decades. To think? That all of this 14:45 would vanish for generations. Sad to think that White Star Line put the most top of the line luxuries in a ship that would founder before even one voyage could be carried out. Titanic (and more-so Britannic) lost their opportunities to be the most luxurious passengerliners in the world. I read that Britannic was meant to be an amazing sight of advanced luxuries beyond Titanic. But, apart from the violence of war, she'd never see a peaceful era.

One of the things that struck me the most is that recently I found out the Titanic was not as big as it looks like in films. I went to the Titanic’s museum in Belfast where you can still visit the area where the ship was built and you can see its shape painted on the ground. I was a bit disappointed. However, I still love the story and the details inside. Thanks for your video! That demo is amazing!

Ik im a bit late, but just gotta say. 1. Your a awesome youtuber, keep up the great work! 2. Titanic has a special place in my heart, since i was 12 I was interested in the Titanic, learning every bit of detail and even going to memorize whats on every deck of the titanic, and how everything worked. Titanic truly memorizes me. Sadly lives were lost due to this disaster. Now she lies on the bottom of the North Atlantic this second, as it slowly continues to rust.

I visited Queen Mary 2 when it came home to Saint-Nazaire to celebrate the 2017 jazz in france celebrations. There is something special about standing next to the large ships like that. Queen Mary 2 in particular still carrying that heritage of the ocean liners.

I didn't expect to be able to play demo 3 because I dont have my pc built yet, but I just happened to be at a friend with a pcs house the day early access was sent out. It's the first demo ive actually been able to play myself instead of watching, compressed on YT and holy shit was I stunned. I was so happy to finally experience it. I was transported. I cant say how much I appreciate that the engravings and molding are 3d now, that was the only "issue" I saw with the other demos. Def gonna rewatch this a bunch since I only got to play it for a day.

I look at the interiors in this demo and wonder how some of the more recently built ships' interiors look much older and stale compared to it, even though they were built 30 to 60 years after the Titanic. It's just timeless imo.

Firstly, this is clearly the best model of Titanic ever made. Having said that, this demo was really bad. I'm sorry. I KNOW it's a tiny team, and based on that fact, this is amazing. However, as a 'consumer', I think they are seriously misguided with the 'game' aspects. It should be a sandbox. You should be like Gordon Freeman. It's so distracting hearing this random voiceover, it constantly takes you out of the game. The 'game' should be you experiencing the roles of various passengers or crew, just going about daily life aboard the ship, doing jobs or going to lunch etc. This demo is awful, frustratingly slow pace, and this stupid 'maze'. Whats with the giant birds who adhere to the same collision walls?
