This is Titanic Honor and Glory's Real Time Sinking animation, darkened with music and sound effects added, and morse code messages added.
Please comment any suggestions to add to the timeline, this is a work in progress and id love to get this timeline as accurate as possible!

The thing about this that fills me with unbridled anger and rage is why lifeboats were not being filled to maximum capacity. That should have been among the top priorities.

This is animation was created by Titanic Honor and Glory, and it is admittedly outdated. But its the best I had (In my opinion) graphically to created what I wanted to. But thats a great question! Ive noticed that myself.

The only thing missing was the steam over the ocean due to the Labrador current, this was the true weather when the Titanic sank.

What is the intensely chilling, eerie sound accompanying the ship's engines? Is it the blowing of wind against the ship? It conveys the deathly chill of the night and says "Death has come and is waiting." To me, it does

That was added my THG, but I left it in because i thought it was perfect. My immediate feeling was just a freezing, empty night. No real sounds to hear other than your own breathing and the cold around you.

The morse code heard is tapped out by an electronic key, which did not exist during the time of Titanic. Manual keys were used then.

I imagine that the ship was actually invisible against the darkness of the night save for its silhouette revealed by its lights. Probably not that much was visible from afar?

The white paint would’ve been slightly visible after ur eyes fully adjusted to the 2am darkness

@@noyesnohaha - that’s interesting. I’ve always wondered what it actually would have looked like. I can’t really imagine it was all ethereally-lit blue in nearly emerald seawater like in Cameron’s film . . .

@@fletcherhamilton3177 I worked on a cruise ship,even the lower ranked jobs have nice salary but on moonless transatlantic nights i always get scared or prepare you known…just incase! And it is DARK! It’s so beautiful seeing the Milky Way kinda though but the next time a ship passes me I’ll try to see it

@@fletcherhamilton3177 I live next to the river Clyde. Every time a ship passes by at night the lights of the ship are visible and the ship's silhouette against the lights of the town across the river. Other than that the ships are invisible at night. I imagine if Titanic had sunk on a cloudy night no one in the lifeboat would have seen anything after her lights failed (except for the lantern on her mast). Her silhouette against the stars was the only way to tell when she had fully gone under.

it would have probably been even darker than that in the horizon theres a blueish light which I dont beleive was actually there.

Today is a sad day thousands of people lost there lives without knowing whats happening and there family members will never see them or have a proper Burial and to top it all off they went by there income and gender also there families didnt know till the very next day so next time you see this video rember this.

Thanks! I also realized its a bit off at points while viewing this year. Its so hard to tell without watching the whole way through! 😂 Next one I create one I absolutely will keep an eye on that. :)
