I’m fairly sure that this movie is almost entirely poorly mashed together asset flips. Somehow a concept of a Titanic movie with decent animation and character design was purchased. Then it was forcibly merged with random garbage and cheaply produced animation serving as connective tissue.

Little known fact, the titanic was actually the first test subject for flex tape, however it had shown that flex tape at the time was not stong enough to hold the boat together, for 100 years Phil Swift continued improving his design until we had the flex tape of today

I know this animation from my childhood. Once, I stayed at my mother's for weekend, it was around Easter. She put this movie on to distract me and hide the fact she was drunk. I remember, looking at that rapping dog and being totally unimpressed. I'm 26 now but I still remember that little girl watching Titanic animation and her disappointment with everything.

I’m convinced this is the best review of this movie on the internet. Practically every joke is priceless and I’m still laughing after so many years. It will forever be canon that the iceberg was disguised as an old man who tried to warn passengers he would take the ship down.

I googled this movie(so the rest of you don’t have to). The version Jon has is the heavily edited and dubbed American release(straight to DVD of course) Not only are scenes out of order, with added dialogue or just flat out missing in part or completely but it also has 12 minutes of end credits on top of a 56 minute run time(the original, which is also awful and exists in English dub, is 82 by comparison) Basically whoever made this version stuck 9lbs of C4 into the original then stitched whatever pieces that were left into an incoherent “movie”, not that the original was coherent Note: with some of the sound effects I’m not sure they were a genuine part of the movie or not. Note 2: The rapping dog is only in this version, it exists in no other version

It's so weird that there's one scene that looks decently animated, where Angelica is talking to the old woman about not having a dress. Like the fidelity looks good, the art looks more realistic, and the movement is fluid. But it's possible that this scene is traced from something else

20:02 is the most historically accurate thing in this movie. The band on the actual Titanic kept playing the whole time, even as the ship hit the iceberg and started going down. They didn't stop, not even while the ship was sinking and everyone was drowning. They kept playing the whole damn time.
