Very helpful review. Sorry to bother you but I have a quesion. I read your blog about "How to replace Dell 9350 SSD" and I also have Dell 9350 and plan to replace a SSD. I am wondering if there is any issue with Samsung 970 EVO plus 500GB. Is it still running well? or any overheating problem? Thank you in advance
Thanks for the comment. No issues at all so far with the 970 EVO in my dell 9350. Works great, and i have not noticed and bad side effects from the swap. But on a side note before the swap I did notice some fan noise almost a rattle sometimes when the fan was on. I ordered a new fan but never did put it in as it showed up after the m.2 swap. Not sure If it got better or just a cooler environment right now. Your comment made me wonder if maybe this drive runs cooler than my old one since that hasn't been bugging me. Or possibly the fan issue just resolved itself somehow. I will pay more attention to that and see if it starts again. But I am really happy with the samsung evo so far. Have a great weekend!
