Yes!!! Stats indeed don’t always tell the full story but I am not buying this random hype about Richardson now.. at the end of last season, everyone was saying his career was over because he really didn’t have a good season/career at Florida.. certainly nothing that warrants him going in the first round.. let alone 3rd. But if the Titans want to waste picks and money on someone that won’t last 2-3 years.. then that’s their choice I guess lol

Hindsight is 20/20. Willis is for sure a project and not nfl ready. Richardson has issues but seems more complete and higher potential

@@hammersbaseball11 The drafted a guy in the 3rd to see if he could be developed. They decided he wasn't worth the investment. Reaching on a top 5 guy is way different than taking a flyer on at 100. Willis needed to prove he was worth developing, and it seems like he didn't. Just look at how many 3rds don't make the roster the year they're drafted. Them moving on from Willis isn't surprising at all. He had a chance and didn't impress. Next.

Totally agree. I have neighbors that went to UF who say the same thing. His talent ceiling is ridiculous but if he struggled to cut it at college albeit in the SEC, how can he possibly do well at the next level if he's supposed to be the starter if not day 1 then sometime in year 1? Falling a bit will let him settle into a good situation for him.

Yep like I said above, take the best O-lineman at #11 which will either be Johnson Jr. or Skoronski, I doubt Johnson Jr. will get past the Bears, and then take a good long look at Hooker in the 2nd. He is only one year older than Levis (Levis will turn 24 in June or July, Hooker turned 25 in early January) and he is a better passer already than Levis is right now. Hooker has been through some stuff in his life as well like a serious medical scare, guy seems to have perspective. I think there will be good value at WR in the 3rd round and even ay the bottom of the 2nd round if they wanted to move up and get a guy. Wilson from Stanford, Boutee from LSU, Rice from SMU ect.

What do they think they can just put any guy on the field and they have amazing success. No way any rookie would. Scouts said the same thing they said about Anthony Richardson. He would need to sit for a year and learn but i think you need 2 years for him before you try and start him. The titans are in a "we need a new guy" which won't help them at all. Willis is good but they don't want to put in the time to help him. That is the problem and if they get another QB they will either be in the same situation they was in when they had Mariota or they just been the one where they have another veteran leading the way. If they really want to make a splash they could go get Lamar and trade Tannehill to the Ravens.

He one disagreement. Jamarcus Russell was more the dude that comes in last minute, wows the chick, hooks up with her, then leaves her with a Baby and an STD. He was never supposed to be the Pick until his Bowl Game performance. I was a pretty known member of the Raiders Group on Myspace at the time. It was hilarious seeing everyone want Jamarcus after that Bowl Game. Personally, I felt Drew Stanton would be the best from that Draft Year and he actually was (it was a horrible QB Draft).

it makes some sense. willis is a project qb, never a guarantee he'll actually develop into anything good but by taking another project qb they increase the odds that someone might. wasting a premium pick on that gamble is what would make it truly awful (hilarious).

I think it depends on the team. If he went to the Colts I think he could start immediately. They have a talented o-line, a really good RB in Taylor, and most importantly their coach is Shane Steichen, who was the Eagles OC last year. And the Eagles offense was a heavy run game centered around the QB and deep shots down the field. Both are areas of strength for Richardson.

@@unc54 you definitely could be right. my reason behind sitting him would be to allow him to become familiar with whos who around the league. if you toss him right in the fire, good chance that the game speed will cause him to grow comfy leaving the pocket. i'd let this kid master the playbook first and allow him to observe for a while. even two seasons. he deserves a great grooming because you might have something special

@@damianpresha9833 It's not that Kyler is bad, he's just not what you want out of a franchise QB. He hasn't improved much since entering the league and a lot of that has to do with him allegedly not taking well to coaching. Maybe it could change with a new regime but with Kyler's ACL injury (which is a big issue considering his reliance on mobility) he probably doesn't see the field until 2024 and I don't know how much he's going to change in his sixth year.

@@unc54 I don't know what more you could want from Kyler he put up respectable passing yards,Passing TDs and complete slightly higher then league average. He's been everything the Cardinals wanted that's why he got paid.

If Jamarcus Russell had completed a few more passes a game, he wouldn't be the biggest bust of all time. If the bullet had gone a few inches to the side, Kennedy wouldn't have died. He legit had a great combine, but that said, it's like no one went and watched his tape. I honestly think a lot of this is smoke and mirrors though. I really cannot see any team taking him in the first round. Sure he's got a lot of potential, but you don't draft a QB in the first round that is still learning how to throw a football.
